Goldfrapp - Annabel - Live @ Later... with Jools Holland

Beautiful and ethereal were Goldfrapp last night performing Annabel on BBC Two. The story of 'a girl trapped inside the body of a boy' is so poetic and heartbreaking that we just have to hold our breath for a bit listening. This clip showcases Alison's vocals and just how crazy good she is. Mad talented and the control she has over her voice is just outstanding. Breathless and soaring effortlessly. 

Premiere: Donna Summer - Bad Girls (Gigamesh Remix)

Donna Summer's 1979 monster #1 hit Bad Girls is arguably one of the most recognized songs from the past, let's say, 50 years. The Giorgio Moroder and Pete Bellotte produced disco anthem we're thinking can fit into practically any party or social function unless it's an extremely boring one! We're sure even death metal affectionados would get down to it. Written by Donna after one of her assistants was mistaken for a prostitute by a police officer it's sent many a floor to the absolute boiling point. We usually love Gigamesh's quirky re-imaginings and piercing synths. This is no excpetion. Completely sending these bad gals into 80's mode with instrumental sections fit for any 2013 gathering! Luckily the legendary Summer power vocals are front and center with the background chants full intact as well. Thankfully the toot, toot, beep, beep's made it as well! How'd we do without 'em? Not so well! This shining new remix uses none of the original horn section, sick bassline or sickenin' guitar solo. We can't have it all it seems, but played one directly after the other makes for one perfect good time to trot. Beep beep! The remix album Love To Love You Donna is out on October 22nd. 

Premiere: Sia Feat. The Weeknd & Diplo - Elastic Heart

Love Sia penned songs but it's for sure a huge treat when she sings them herself as well to say the least! She become quite the soundtrack queen as well - Elastic Heart if for The Hunger Games: Catching Fire and features The Weeknd's honey soaked voice and Diplo's sick beats! The blend of all this talent just makes it a joy to listen to.  

Premiere: Ali Love - Another

Hot Natured's Ali Love is readying his sophomore album to be released early next year. We still haven't quite recovered from the sheer brilliance of the Róisín Murphy collaboration exactly a month ago. Oh well, here's the solo Another hit and we can't stop repeating it, haha. It plays like a classic house diva anthem but with a eerie emotion shining through the veneer of the house beat. The bassline echoes the hurt in Ali's voice and for some reason we can picture Robin S doing a stellar cover of this. The vinyl drops on October 14th with the digital following on November 14th. Free Download: Gisele Bündchen – All Day and All of the Night

We walked past an H&M last night and out of the speakers was Gisele Bündchen's The Kinks cover of All Day and All of the Night blasting out. While her version is a bit more polished than the classic 1964 gritty garage rock original it's still sounds really good. We like that her voice has a warm tone and her English accent is so distinct. That alone elevates the cover for sure. It's totally cute too! This could totally be on one of those Hotel Costes compilations, haha. However, we really miss the badass Dave Davies guitar solo making it sound all PROTOPUNK and creates a wonderful personality to the song. Shame! The cover came to be as Gisele is H&M's model for Fall/Winter '13 and is released through them. If you buy on iTunes a portion will go to UNICEF's work.
