Emel Mathlouthi - All Is Full of Love (Björk Cover)

Knowing that several of Tunisian singer Emel Mathlouthi's original songs are protest songs and anthems for the Tunisian and Egyptian revolutions this cover plays straight into our heart. Her sublime live version of Björk's eternal All Is Full of Love is filled to the brim with love, light and hope. The acoustics of the venue bounce off Emel's voice and we're getting celestial feelings listening - we know Björk would love too. Such a nice and relaxing moment, but also an important one. Knowing that there is love in absolute darkness and despair when your world is in uproar is important to rememeber. When the title is repeated over and over it feels like a chant and a spiritual lesson. Near the end Emel's voice soars high above and it's like her spirit breaks free from man-made chains. Love is truly like a wild flower, it can grow in the harshes conditions and even break through the pavement if it has to. Enjoy and grab the free download below.

Premiere: Rebecca Ferguson - I Hope

Rebecca Ferguson is truly an outstanding talent. The drama she can convey with just a tremble to that stellar voice most people only can dream of. Ourselves included! We think she should be way more popular than she is, and we can't help to think it's part to do with she's music first and no leaning on gimmicks. Plus, I Hope is good but feels a bit unfinished for a lead single. The big drum bangin', verses and bridge are sumblime but the chorus is, well, a bit repetitive in not the best way. She's the most talented act to come from the UK the past few years and we love her debut album Heaven, so this is a much welcome return. GIT IT with the next single Rebecca! We know you have it you. Sophomore album Freedom is out on December 2nd! Updated with the sicknin' album cover - so fierce! 

TLC - Meant To Be (New Single)

The day after we posted that insanely good TLC/The Knife mash-up the former went and released a brand new excellent single. Meant To Be put us in such a reflective mood we had to wait a little to post it. The Ne-Yo penned mid-tempo track is such a 90's throwback it sounds like it was recorded during the FanMail sessions. On October 15th their new greatest hits 20 is released and contains two new tracks - this one and Posh Life written by Lady GaGa and Dallas Austin. We're so happy that they decided not to tag on an old unreleased rap by Left-Eye. Since it's impossible to not think about her when TLC is mentioned she's part of the track anyway. It's hard to think it's already 11 years since her death in a car accident. She had an amazing decade as the punk girl of the legendary R&B trio and to think it's over 20 years since their debut Ooooooohhh... On the TLC Tip is just mind blowing. Like, where the hell did the time go?! We have a feeling that thought will hit us more and more since our childhood is starting to become anniversaries, haha. This sunny yet reflective song is more than a fitting tribute to one of the biggest acts of the last two decades. Enjoy!

Fork, we knew there was a reason we couldn't stop salivating and dry humping earlier today! Those sexy beasts Jen + Rick in Hi Fashion are serving up some Salvadoran sexy handmade corn tortillas toasted to perfection. All warm and moist with a sweet crunch to it... Say hello gorgeous to Pupusa and try to wipe down your seat with a sturdy napkin! Both the track and video are virtual smorgåsbords filled to the brim with ass slapping, dirty beats and serious hi energy. The lyrics we cannot even begin with. We're sure even Albert Camus would be happy to put his seal of approval. We'll have some fish tacos with hot sauce to go plz! Pupusa can be found on the You Are Gorgeous EP - which is out now! Premiere: The Knife - Raging Lung (Hannah Holland Remix)

More The Knife goodness coming our way! London's finest DJ and producer Hannah Holland turns Raging Lung into an epic dark odyssey into a new realm. It plays like a dub and the lessening of vocals is almost like the subject has had the wind knocked out of the lungs. The organic feel of the original with the looming trumpet and deafening drums is subdued with a shiny black matter full of secret pathways down to a basement full of club kids and broken dreams. The artwork feels like a new chapter in the shaking of habituals. Let's see where this alley leads us to.
