Introducing: Zutori

Once in a while you come across an amalgamation that combines exactly what you love. Swede Johan Grimberg loves music and fashion as much as we do and has just launched Zutori - a brand portal that combines the two with a great sense of style. The site offers worldwide shipping and right now an end of summer + opening campaign with 30-60 % off. Says Johan:

Zutori comes from the Japanese word sutori, meaning history/story. We believe that every brand has its own unique story to tell through their clothes and accessories. Zutori was founded in 2016 and has its base in Malmö, Sweden. We are very passionate about clothing and music and therefore you will find many brands that are connected to the music world. Our goal is to provide first-class service and unique brands that we truly believe in.

Premiere: Fischerspooner - Everything Is Just Allright

HELL YES, BABY! We have brand new Fischerspooner! Everything Is Just Allright is the first new music from 'em since 2011 and is the soundtrack to the SS16 Nicopanda campaign film. Do we dare to even mention that the track is electroclash?! :D We love this return to their roots and how the beat is so vintage yet sounds like it really fits into the *modern world*. The verses are muted and truly are gleaming in between the soaring chorus and the synths help bring it all together. Those harsh lyrics and clipped vocals from Casey Spooner = gorgeous! The film directed by Alexander Alexandrov featuring choreography by Josh Killacky and dancing by him + Alex Ditommaso and Evan Moody fit perfectly and is so on point. Very fashion + mysterious + category is: orthopaedic shoe game realness. Watch below!

Premiere: London Grammar - Hey Now (The Shoes Remix)

London Grammar's beautiful slow burner Hey Now sees its energy amped up by awesome Parisian duo The Shoes for the upcoming Dior J'adore campaign starring Charlize Theron. This new mix is a bit rough yet elegant at once and really complements the rich depth of Hannah Reid's voice. We really like how the music flows and the slight restraint in the vocals creating a wonderful atmosphere. Warm and inviting but with a stroke of sadness. Top notch!

Free Download: Gisele Bündchen – All Day and All of the Night

We walked past an H&M last night and out of the speakers was Gisele Bündchen's The Kinks cover of All Day and All of the Night blasting out. While her version is a bit more polished than the classic 1964 gritty garage rock original it's still sounds really good. We like that her voice has a warm tone and her English accent is so distinct. That alone elevates the cover for sure. It's totally cute too! This could totally be on one of those Hotel Costes compilations, haha. However, we really miss the badass Dave Davies guitar solo making it sound all PROTOPUNK and creates a wonderful personality to the song. Shame! The cover came to be as Gisele is H&M's model for Fall/Winter '13 and is released through them. If you buy on iTunes a portion will go to UNICEF's work. The free download can be found here and and a behind the scenes style video here. Are you gonna dance 60's style tonight?

Tina Turner - What's Love Got To Do With It (Zimmer Rework) - Free Download

55 years into her career Tina Turner scores her very first Vogue cover! (This also makes her the oldest person to ever grace a Vogue cover btw.) She's a true badass and we think Vogue Deutschland have a kickass cover for their April issue. Tina has a distinct style and we think this is way overdue and the way forward in publishing for sure. We need a soundtrack so go grab this re-work of iconic What's Love Got To Do With It by French DJ Zimmer and get your groove on! Enjoy!
