Carolyn Murphy for Vogue Italia September 2012 by Steven Meisel

We absolutely adore Vogue Italia's creative license when it comes to their all important September issue. Remember last year's stunning Ethel Granger editorial with Stella Tennant? When we saw this year's editorial cover Face The Future we almost spit our coffee out! It's an ode to Julie Masking and the whole masking community! We're terrified and intrigued at the same time! Goregous Carolyn Murphy is superb in these shots by Steven Meisel. WOW! Holy fuck! It's so good and elegant & we love the juxtaposition of luxury country life with the undertone the masks bring to the table. Watch the amazing fashion film below + JULIE at her best. For more masking click here if ya dare! Anna Wintour put Lady GaGa on her September issue as we all know, last year was Kate Moss. Pretty safe names to say the least. That's why we love Italian editor-in-chief Franca Sozzani so much! Bella! Update: And now Channel 4 has a whole masking documentary

Chloe Sevigny wants your original music!

It's recently come to our attention that our beloved Chloe Sevigny is gearing up for two new videos! Be still our beating heart! Dare we hope for minimalistic vegan sandwiches macerated in wine from a 14th century Italian monastery? Eaten with the greatest of ease in the office of Anna Wintour wearing a body bib from Nakkna? Oh! The thing is she neeeeds your help with the soundtrack! She and her director friend Jim Hansen are looking for some original music - dancey, clubby, dubby, tracks that reminds you of Alek Wek on disco snow. So if you're a musician send us a Facebook message w your track and we will pass it along to her for consideration! Yes! Good luck!

Update: Ms Sevigny sent us a message they have closed music submissions now.

Absolutely Fabulous - Olympics Special - Full Episode

Eddy and Patsy were in full swing last night as they tried to get ready for the Olympics. Tried being the operative word, haha. Kind of a shocker that age is catching up with them, and they certainly feel it. We want them to be forever the same! The Stella McCartney bits were the funniest and could have been longer for sure. Have a look below! Thoughts?

Tilda Swinton By Xevi Muntané For Candy Magazine #4 + issue sneak peek

It's heating up to become the summer of extra extravagance in the name of CANDY! Luis Venegas beyond brilliant transversal magazine comes out with issue 4, starring multifaceted Tilda Swinton. How glamourous is that cover shot by Xevi Muntané? We're proud Candy-heads since issue 1, and we love how this magazine always brings together the industry's top creators to create effortless and stylish editorials that brings depth and engages in discussion. It's the go-to publication for anyone working in the world of style and fashion photography. The sneak peek inside the magazine promises greatness too! Marvellous! We're crazy for Steven Klein's Baby Boom editorial with its juxtaposition of a pregnant Chris Fawcett and S&M inspired fashion. Wow. Not to mention David Armstrong's recreation of images of himself shot by Nan Goldin. Simply stunning. And Juan Gatti's Transhispania is gorgeous styling and photography against a minimalistic backdrop. Love it! Once again we are blown away. Chanel - Cruise Collection 2013 - Full Fashion Show

Uncle Karl and his house of Chanel presented a badass mash-up of eighteenth century French aristocracy and modern punk rock n' roll style for the cruise collection at Versailles this week. We love the idea of taking couture and mixing them with contemporary urban elements. The classic Chanel suit mixed with trainers and a baroque wig? Yes plz. We'll have that for cocktails soon. We can't wait to see what this will look like in the shops and on the buyers. NICE usage of the music too - our fave Swede rapper Gnucci Banana and also Crookers to name but a few. Sweet! Watch the full show below + an interview with the man with a plan - Karl Lagerfeld.
