Premiere: Santigold - Radio (Paper Towns OST)

We loooove Santigold so holy moly - here's a brand new track from her! Hopefully this means a new album is the works. *death drops* Radio is taken from the OST to the Paper Towns movie starring Nat Wolff and Cara Delevingne and opens next month. Radio is characteristically Santi White with her powerful vocals with those gorgeous sharp edges and a belter of a chorus. The production is tight yet rough and we love how the drums compete with the focus of the song. They rumble and is serving life! Enjoy!

Premiere: Tracey Thorn - Follow Me Down (The Falling OST)

We're not one bit surprised that when Tracey Thorn creates a soundtrack the film gets rave five star reviews. This as who would even dare to pitch a bad movie idea to TT in the first place?! Unfathomable, haha. So here we are. Follow Me Down sets the tone to Carol Morley's debut feature film about an all girls school in the 1960's. The whole OST is a 17 minute EP filled with moods, sketches and atmospheres over eight different tracks. Love the experimental feel, airy piano and somber mood of this lead track. And how this whole project was done in Tracey's home - with her playing everything allowing herself one take only on each of the instruments. She's too cool for school for sure - even a fictious 1960's one! LOVE her!

Premiere: Lana Del Rey - Big Eyes + I Can Fly

Lana Del Rey drops two brand new tracks for Tim Burton's upcoming biopic Big Eyes about painter Margaret Keane starring Amy Adams. Both Big Eyes and I Can Fly are luxurious ballads that soars and moves us. The former has a gorgeous brass section that sounds amazing. Lyric wise it focuses on the film plot with Margaret's fraud of a husband who claimed falsely her paintings as his own work. It's a very cinematic sound and we love it! The second one, which will be played during the closing credits, is classic Lana with icy strings and killer lyrics about caged up waiting to fly over a dramatic wall of music. Listen, listen below! Thoughts?!

Premiere: Grace Jones - Original Beast

Amazing Grace! For The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 1 OST Grace Jones has written and recorded a brand new track - Original Beast and it's a definite killer. She was asked personally by Lorde, the soundtrack curator, and it's clear to hear why. Apart from being absolutely fantastic this is a track that screams raw emotions with such an amazing guttural tone. At first it's really hard to pinpoint the sound and then it just shifts and hits you over the head like a ton of (amazing) bricks. Co-written by Grace's Hurricane album partner Ivor Guest they sound like such a dream team and his background as a composer of Oscar winning films really shines through. The classic reggae tones from the legendary Jones' Compass Point sessions in the early 80's is a wonderful spine for the song that just shatters into an electro feel that we're just crazy about. Listen below, it's real beast of a track! Thoughts?

Premiere: The Chemical Brothers x Miguel x Lorde - This Is Not A Game

This Is Not a Game! As we know Lorde has been busy curating the soundtrack for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1. So far with Yellow Flicker Beat her skills have been really impressive. Now she's enlisted The Chemical Brothers (for their first single since 2011) and Miguel for some serious battling. We love the hard industrial feel of the C.B beat paired with the raw yet soulful main vocals paired with the hypnotic mumbling. Damn cool!
