CHVRCHES - It's Not Right But It's Okay (Whitney Houston Cover)

Glasgow synthpop trio CHVRCHES take on Whitney Houston's power vocals and Rodney Jerkins legendary production on their cover of 1998 masterpiece It's Not Right But It's Okay. It's totally left field and we love it + and this is a big +, we finally have a chance to actually be able to sing along to this baby. :D OK, so it's not as powerful as the original but it certainly is sweet and the dirty live arrangement for BBC's Radio 1 will make for a perfect tour staple come fall. Listen belooow! Thoughts?

Video Premiere: Charli XCX - SuperLove

Charli XCX released her debut album True Romance a mere five months ago and is already onto new material. We're thinking maybe as it missed the Billboard 200 album list and peaked at #85 in the UK despite being hyped. Just an idea at least! SuperLove is a fun and more accessible track with sweet hooks and flirty lyrcis. The video is a fun Instagram postcard from Tokyo with nightlife and a comeback for Buffalo shoes. This is not a direct smash as Charli penned I Love It for Icona Pop but it's fun and should get her some superlovin'. Thoughts?

Video Premiere: Sky Ferreira - You're Not The One

We're crushing majorly on Sky Ferreira. She's so awesome and talented. Sadly we realize with her arrest for heroin possession two weeks ago her life is hardcore. :/ Judging by her new video to excellent You're Not The One her on-screen relationships are no cakewalks either. We'd be up for being her one though and bake cupcakes when she's having a nap, then driving her to gigs and waiting outside with flowers and water blogging about her, haha. The music wouldn't sound like this then we guess, sorry, maybe a bit Celine Dion-ish?! Her debut album Night Time, My Time drops on October 29th - cannot wait!  

Premiere: MØ - Never Wanna Know

Denmark's badass MØ is truly on fire and fresh off the heels from her Diplo collaboration we're getting the stunning Never Wanna Know. She's summoning every jukebox single and girl group of the 50's and 60's and adds some classic heartbreak - we're getting goose bumps! So damn good and somewhere Amy Winehouse is sitting with her bouffant and smiling. MØ's Bikini Daze EP is out October 20th!

New Zealand's finest Ella Yelich-O'Connor better known as Lorde to us all is having an incredible start to her career to say the least. She's mad hyped and has the skills and talent to back it the hell up! Considering she's only 16 and is having her infectious Royals currently at #3 in the US after hitting #1 in her home country, the stratosphere seems like the next stop. Her debut album Pure Heroine is out the 30th but already you can stream it in full below. We love the chilled minimalistic production and Lorde's distinctive voice leaving you no choice but to listen to her. Truly hypnotizing. Tennis Court could be the best album opener evah with the super slick attitude and beats to match, not to mention the sick lyrics playing like a badass high school movie. Buzzcut Season soars and is easily one of the best songs of the year. A lot to take in so press play gently and enjoy!
