Video Premiere: Primal Scream & Sky Ferreira - Where The Light Gets In

Legendary rockers Primal Scream are back and they've teamed up with Sky Ferreira! Their duet Where The Light Gets In is the lead single to upcoming album Chaosmosis - out March 18th. We really dig Bobby Gillespie and Sky's voices together + the fact that Björn Yttling of Peter Bjorn and John and also collaborator to Lykke Li has co-produced. Top marks all 'round! It's fun and rowdy, retro and energetic - the video too. What's not to like? Enjoooy!

Sky Ferreira's Everything Is Embarrassing is easily one of our most played the last few years. Love it so! The melancholy feeling is palpable and we cannot get enough. Sky's own programmer/keyboardist Johnny Danger, who did this very awesome remix last year mashes it with German duo Milky Chance's Stolen Dance - thus infusing the sadness with some folktronica. The result is strangely soothing and the vocal loop is hypnotic paired with that stomping beat. It now borders on, dare we say, a happy song?! ;) Enjoy below!

Sky Ferreira's You're Not The One gets a sweet 80's neon rock remix by Brooklyn trio Little Daylight and we love it! Since her late 2013 debut album Night Time, My Time didn't see a UK release until just two weeks ago it makes sense to keep the remixes comin'! This one replaces the original's hard edge with a more soft approach that we totally could see being played in 1986 in a huge arena. Niiiice!

Sky Ferreira's You're Not The One is absolute fire and definitely on our Best of '13 list. What a killer track! We're crazy about the messy guitars and breathy vocals in that sweet, sweet mix. L.A producer/DJ and also Sky's own programmer/keyboardist Johnny Danger brings some Cyril Hahn realness with his take on it. The vocals are pitched down and brings out age old secrets from another dimension it seems. The music is laced with church vibes, twisted darkness and deep sexy drums. Love! A 180 spin and we wanna have more! 

Sky Ferreira - You're Not the One (Live at The Newtown Sessions)

We loooove Sky Ferreira's You're Not the One and cannot wait until next Tuesday when her debut album Night Time, My Time drops. This live version has a harder sound than the final released version and we love this raw sound. Although they have a great audio engineer there is no denying how good she sounds and how tight her live band is!
