Premiere: Blondie - Long Time (Hercules & Love Affair Remix)

Blondie returning to a band sound and to form is bloody fantastic and we've had superb single Long Time on repeat all spring! THE VIDEO is beyond, too! Debbie Harry sounds fantastic and the fact that she co-wrote it with Dev Hynes makes us incredibly happy. Both are so talented and fearless! To have Hercules & Love Affair joining the party with a fabulous remix is almost too much, haha. Premiere: Blondie - Long Time

Words cannot truly express the happiness we feel to hear how fantastic and dynamic Blondie as a band is sounding right now! Their Pollinator album era is shaping up to be bloody gorgeous! The album drops May 5th and Long Time is out n o w and what a track! Co-written by fabulous Dev Hynes and harks back to their disco days, namely Heart Of Glass, but still has its gaze fixed on the road ahead. It's fun, tight and sounds like a true band playing together with all the energy that brings. Debbie Harry's voice, iconic as it is, soars over all that goodness and infuses with her wondrous talent. LOVE!  

Video Premiere: Blood Orange - Sandra's Smile

We looove Blood Orange and so happy to have new material from him! It's a sad moment too as Sandra's Smile, a fantastic new song, remembers Sandra Bland and references Trayvon Martin's mother Sybrina Fulton that she's not ready to forgive her son's killer. It's hard to fathom how these events are even occuring in real life - but they are. This paired with a sick Dev Hynes beat, complete with a stunning saxophone plus amazing moves - it's all a bit too much. It's powerful and a grim look into tragedies that in no way are justified. Welcome back Dev - we've missed you! 

Video Premiere: Tinashe - Bet

Yeeeeah! Our favourite Tinashe song, Bet, finally has some visuals to it! And it's closing out her Aquarius album era - we were worried it'd be passed over despite being absolute fire. It's also the only track on her debut to have been worked on with Dev Hynes and produced by Blood Diamonds. They are a trio made of diamonds so let's hope for MORE of 'em together for next era! The video is a lo-fi affair with some majah dancing that reminds of Janet's The Pleasure Principle video. PLUS we're getting Feels Like Vegas as a bonus. Nice! Tinashe is so on point and free spirited that we only can wish her more, more, more of everything for whatever she decides to do next. Love her!  

Premiere: Samantha Urbani - 1 2 3 4

We've been crushing majorly on Samantha Urbani's immense talent and awesome voice since he work on boyfriend Dev Hynes' (Blood Orange) incredible 2013 album Cupid Deluxe. Now he gets to repay the favour by playing piano on 1 2 3 4. This masterpiece serves as Samantha's solo debut - she was part of the band Friends b4. Written by herself and then co-produced with Sam Mehren of dance punk band Test Icicle it's a hot piece of ass music. It's tight and the feelin' when hearing this is that we're livin' in a 1980 NYC and it drives us mad. It's a crazy good combination of flawless vocals and a production that both comes across as meticulous and carefree. That takes some serious skillz right there! Fun fact: Parts of the track were recorded on the MetroNorth train from New Haven to Grand Central. ENJOY! We dare you not to like it!
