Free Download: Lana Del Rey - The Blackest Day (Samuel Fnderio Remix)

Even though Lana Del Rey has been very generous with 4 studio albums between 2012 and 2015 it's easy to go a bit crazy in between. Being under her spell and all! Luckily there are plenty of bootlegs and here's a black and heavy one for The Blackest Day. The original version from the Honeymoon album is already fantastic and from the very first listen it was love from us. Samuel Fnderio adds a harder sound with pouding drums and an atmosphere of high drama which we absolutely love. A single release from the album would have been amazing and we're so happy to have this as a reminder of how brilliant this track really is. Check out below + download it here! Enjoy!

In 1987 Whitney Houston was still rising and at the top of her game. I Wanna Dance With Somebody (Who Loves Me) was a super smash and now it's easily one of the most memorable 80's tracks out there. It's still really cool, especially since how crisp Ms. Houston's vocals makes it. This Let Them Eat Cake remix by UK act Disco City lends a contemporary yet classic sound - it's the piano house feel, baby! Wow, we love this Kelela x Kindness x Kate Bush vibe! Kelela's mixtape Cut 4 Me got universal praise but Kindness missed the remix deadline so here they are as downloads! The title track is sprinkled with fairytale gold dust in the shape of Kate Bush and her magical This Woman's Work - it works SO well. Hot damn! Amazing 4-ever Erykah Badu just dropped TRILL FRIENDS - her version of Kanye West's new single Real Friends. SO GOOD! The beat is there but in all honesty, it's all about the voice. 'nye ain't got the Badu power and it's such a smooth and luxurious listen. Those lyrics, we cannot even begin + using some WHODINI is just so crazy good. Adele's Hello to the world and her 25 album era is breaking records like no other and she is everywhere and will be so for the next few years. Luckily for us all at the core of it all there is solid music and a fun approach to it all. Swiss producer The Phoenician has taken the grief of missing an ex in vain and gone *tropical*. Don't mind if we do! Ain't nothing wrong with holding a big umbrella drink in one hand and then crying into your flip phone with the other. The added oomph this bootleg brings is really great, too. It shows how grief and sorrow needs a break sometimes - without disrespecting your own feelings. And the added production is really cool. It's groovy and makes you wanna d.a.n.c.e.
