Erykah Badu 4-ever, honestly. And we'll always have a very special place in our heart for her 1996 landmark album Baduizm. Apple Tree, remixed here by Brazilian DJ Guilherme Aranda Kock, was the third and final single - released only in Europe. We've always liked the insightful humour of the lyrcis paired with that mellow music. This bootleg amps things up a bit and imagine Erykah dancing to this with her artsy friends way back in 1996 on a warm summer night - cool! Grab it belooow and enjoooy!

Janet Jackson sent music forums into a frenzy last week by dropping the slow and rockin' comeback single No Sleeep and accepting the icon award at the BET Awards. We've had her new single on repeat x 10 + want the album so badly. How awesome then that DJ Beset gets turnt up on his bootleg and amps it up for some sexy dance floor times. Love how the soft and gentle vocals sail on the deeeper (typo that stays) groove. The combination is irresistible! Have fun dancin' tonight and here's to getting no sleeep! ;) 

Free Download: Chaka Khan - Fate (Gy Fos Re-Drum Disco Mix)

Aaaah, ain't nothin' like dancin' to disco classics on warm summer nights! Thus was the sheer force of Chaka Khan's disco power in 1981 that her now classic Fate never was released as a single from her album What Cha' Gonna Do For Me. It's even the second to last track on it! Also, it's pretty impossible to not have danced to it as Stardust's Music Sounds Better With You samples the intro and obviously was a monster hit in 1998 and now a true 90's dance classic. Anyway, the original is a flawless exercise in disco funk and we can nevah get enough. UK producer Gy Fos adds some oomph with a re-drum disco mix that incorporates that Stardust extended intro magic and it's perfect to play loud and on repeattttt. 'nough said - d.a.n.c.e! 

Free Download: Robin S - Show Me Love (Klass Remix)

Robin S saw her 1990 single Show Me Love explode on the charts in 1993 with the Stonebridge remix we all know and love. It's a house anthem for the ages and instantly recognizable and so damn catchy n' perfect. Both official and bootleg remixes are a dime a dozen by now that rarely hold a candle to the '93 remix. But, say hello to Klass - winner of Croatia's Youngest DJ award last year (he's born in '98) and signed to Headz Up Records as of this week! His take on this evergreen club hit is awesome and we really love how it's close to the classic but adds a fresh take to it and makes it his own production wise.
