This Initial Talk mashup of Sleeep and another Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis production - S.O.S. Band's Even When You Sleep from 1986 is just beyond. Love it and some! They go perfectly togetha and makes us wanna dim the lights, rock with a lover and get down, haha. They both possess the ability to electrify with darkness and stir major emotions through their musical output. When combined it's fantastic. Drowning's deeper instrumentation and twig's ethereal voice from Lights On make it sound like a mythical creature is hovering over a dark, endless pit looking for a missing lover. Drowned? It's too much and so perfect.

We love us some TLC and remember a friend givin' us the Girl Talk vinyl in 2002 for our b'day. Great memory but sad of course as it came out after Left-Eye died in that car crash. :/ We were so in the mood for a mashup and wow, here it is! TLC get to party with Mark Morrison's '96 monster one hit wonder Return Of The Mack. Also, that Tom Tom Club sample - love it! Second time this week we've had it on repeat! We actually prefer the vocals over this beat - it's a harder, richer sound but also funkier. Can't argue with that! Enjoooy!

Wow, this sounds really awesome! Madonna's Rebel Heart lead single Living For Love has proved to be a real grower and we especially lover the gospel influences paired with that house beat. How awesome then to hear Sam Smith's soulful vocals from his 2012 Disclosure collaboration - Latch over it! The MDNA beat really suits Sam's voice; imagine a full collaboration between all three acts! *death drops* Since this mashup is so seamless this kinda needs to happen in the nearest of futures! Lana's organic darkness is of course perfect as the backdrop to the stuttering high goodness of the $hit twigs is dealing.
