Free Download: Sinéad O'Connor VS. Miley Cyrus - Nothing Compares To Wrecking Ball

Obviously everything sounds better with some Sinéad O'Connor and Prince behind it! Even Miley Cyrus and her Wrecking Ball is tolerable to our ears now, haha. We completely agree with Sinéad on the whole sexualization and pimping out artists for $$$ and not caring about the art or person behind it and how tiresome that is. The biggest evident is the video to this mash-up. Strip back the heavy duty side of the WB video and you're left with an amazing singer and a very tender and heartfelt song that shines. That's all you need for sure! Nothing Compares To Wrecking Ball sounds heavenly and really complement each other. We actually thought a reason Sinéad got so angry with all the open letters etc. was that she saw a grain of herself in the rebellious way Miley presents herself. Granted it's a very different way, but still some similarities are there. Plus, since this mash-up is so amazing, they really should work together and blow everyone out of the water. In this version we can't get over how insanely good these lyrics sound.

Lady GaGa VS. Madonna - Applause Gone Wild

Part of the internet pointed fingers a few weeks ago that Lady GaGa's Applause has a synth hook that reminds of MDNA's Girl Gone Wild. The resemblance wasn't something that screamed in our ears as they're pretty standard EDM but when hearing the two mashed they do go awfully well toghether. That's not a bad thing, but we think both tracks are a bit reductive in terms of pushing dance music forward. Both artists know how to create way more memorable songs than those two singles for sure. The videos look good together as well so these ladiez definitely share some taste! Have a look below! Thoughts?

Mashup: The Knife VS. Fat Joe & Ashanti - Summer Luv (Heartbeats)

In 2002/2003, during the renaissance of the mashup we definitely danced to The Knife's immortal Heartbeats and Fat Joe and Ashanti's massive hit What's Luv. Never did we think to join the two together! Thankfully L.A based DJ Bahler decided to bring us some summer luvin' and the result is amazing. We went to The Knife's May concert in Copenhagen and from what we saw they will love this! Take the unexpected two and toss 'em together in a tight mix. If we didn't know better we'd swear Joe is rapping over Heartbeats for real, and Karin and Olof were the actual producers of both tracks! Enjoooy! 

Introducing: Yasmin Green - Spectrum VS. Say My Name

Just the first hit of Yasmin Green's voice and you get all warm inside. She has such a rich tone it's like butter and honey to listen to! Not to mention pitch perfect too! And what a great mix of songs! At least to us as it happens we love both Florence + The Machine's Spectrum (Say My Name) and DC's immortal cheating anthem Say My Name. Yasmin, alumni of The BRIT School for Performing Arts, revitalize both tracks together with her producer Ian Copeland Green and create an incredible rhythm impossible not to stomp to! Keep an eye on 'em both for sure! Top marks guys! 

Madonna VS. Daft Punk - A Lucky Mashup

Ooo, this mashup makes us tingle all over, haha! How awesome would it be if MDNA were to collaborate with Daft Punk?! Some hot beats for her next album are in due order for sure! PLUS legend Nile Rodgers who co-wrote and plays his heavenly guitar on Get Lucky produced Madonna's Like A Virgin album! Not to mention Pharrell's work on the Hard Candy album. The pitch on her voice in the mix made us smile for some reason. It sounds crazy and totally works! We can see this blowing up any party this summer and some! Nice work by Dutch producer Trillian Miles for sure. Thanks Jay! :))
