Premiere: Lady GaGa - The Cure

Lady GaGa headlined Coachella last night and premiered a brand new song! It's streaming everywhere already and it sounds ace. The Cure is a big step away from her Joanne country album and more towards her roots in electronic sounds with a hint of The Weeknd realness thrown in there, too. We like it a lot, and it fits her so much better, at least according to these ears listening at this very moment in time. C'mon The Cure! GaGa's voice is so supple and the production is super tight - a pure joy to listen to. Stream it below and click here for the live clip!

Premiere: Lady GaGa - Million Reasons

Lady GaGa is currently out on her dive bar tour with Bud Light and promoting upcoming album Joanne (out Oct 21). Since she's a huge profile of course she's up for endless scrutinizing of what she's doing or comments on what she should be doing. It's therefore nice to see and hear her releasing material that sounds truly heartfelt. Million Reasons sounds more effortless to us than lead single Perfect Illusion and like Stefani truly enjoys herself singing. It's bluesy and country, ya'll, with a sweet piano and belting chorus intertwined with soft verses. NICE. Plus how sweet are those lyrics?! It also reminds us of a less polished Yoü And I, and that ain't a bad thing at all. Listen below, and click here for the Nashville premiere of her dive bar tour!

Premiere: Lady GaGa - Perfect Illusion

Eight years since Lady GaGa debuted with The Fame - here's Perfect Illusion, her first pop single in three years! The last time we had a solo studio album was 2013's ARTPOP that built on her myth but felt uneven and heavy. The last few years we've had her joint jazz album with Tony Bennett and her The Countess character on American Horror Story as main anchors if a LG fix has been needed. Her return to Mother Monster sounds like a fun rock anthem, co-written with both Tame Impala's Kevin Parker, Mark Ronson and Bloodpop (Blood Diamonds). It sounds miles away from her catchiest hits and but could have been included on The Fame Monster easily. So classic GaGa but still looking to the future. Her album is still going under title LG5 and it'll be interesting to hear what this new era hold. We really like how effortless this new taster sounds like and how she still holds true to her core. Thoughts?

Mistaken for love, it was a perfect illusion...

Video Premiere: Lady GaGa - G.U.Y - An ARTPOP Film

Lady GaGa brings back some humour and flirty times to her Artpop era with the G.U.Y short film. Cleverly there are several songs from the album used and gorgeous scenery to go along. The start is bleak with a hurt GaGa that looks in dire need of some love. That she gets at the Hearst castle from the cast of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and some male clones. Plus, how long are those closing credits? 'ave a look below! Thoughts?

Premiere: Lady GaGa Feat. Christina Aguilera - Do What U Want

Lady GaGa and Christina Aguilera's surprise duet of Do What U Want at the finale of The Voice two weeks ago was a big hit. So much that they released the studio version at midnight on New Years Eve! This new one keeps the original instrumental as heard on the R Kelly version and simply adds the Xtina verse as replacement for the vox. Gone are also the drug and sexy times references so we wonder if LG really, really wants US radio to catch on. Artpop could do with a boost so let's see what happens! Listen below. Thoughts? PS. The screen grab above alone made this collaboration perfect!
