Premiere: Lady GaGa - Applause

Lady GaGa has seen her Applause leak in snippets over the weekend and here, finally, is the full version. This marks the official musical start to the Artpop era and you can bet your money on her fanbase going absolutely mental right now. Applause is a celebration of pop culture and and what fame does to you. We'll be back with a more nuanced review in a bit, haha. First thoughts? Update: Alright, with a few hours distance and plays we must say we like it. It's catchy and lighthearted with a sound that ushers in a new LG era. Her voice is quite raw and the chorus soars like a good pop hook should. By no means will this road map any unknown music territory but as a live staple this will drive her fans wild, plus it's nice to hear her heading back to some of the fun and flirtiness from The Fame days. Are ya'll applauding? Update 2: And here's the lyrics video! Actually it's more of buzz video we'd say and it features mighty fine queens such as Shangela and Detox! Looks like a messy and fun night at the classic hangout Micky's in West Hollywood. 

Lady GaGa - High Princess/Stache - New Track

Looks like this is the first taster from Lady GaGa's upcoming album Artpop! High Princess/Stache is produced by German DJ and producer Anton Zaslavski a.k.a Zedd and is a club techno heavy track that reminds us of Daft Punk! The double entendre regarding stache is pretty fun! Or perhaps it's just a blunt question? Haha. GaGa wants us to get messed up! Thoughts?

Madonna - Masterpiece - Golden Globe Winner - Best Original Song

Wow, from the last two interviews and now this we can tell we're gonna be busy writing about Madonna's 2012 already! Madonna won a Golden Globe last night for Masterpiece, her brand new track for W.E. Congrats! We love M and William Orbit together, and this is no exception. However, what really got us going was Elton John's hilarious comments on the red carpet that Madonna didn't stand a fucking chance, and his expression later at the ceremony was just on the money - so funny! Snap!

Lady GaGa - Stuck On Fuckin' You - New Track!

We love the idea of artists releasing a new track as a Christmas gift to their fans. What a great and easy way to show appreciation and have some fun! This exactly what Mother Monster has done - Stuck On Fuckin' You is a bluesy track recorded in one take during the Born This Way sessions, on a tour bus after a Monster Ball show in Minnesota. Merry Xmas monsters!

Lady GaGa - Marry The Night - Live @ Ellen

Lady GaGa stopped by Ellen and performed her new single Marry The Night. We really dig this! We love the vocal delivery and that she held back on the very heavy recorded backing vocals for this one! Not to mention how slick and produced this is. That's serious dedication to one trade to create such unique performances for each TV appearance. Those ballet shoes from the video and keytar we bet are already being duplicated by creative monsters!
