Live: Aretha Franklin (You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman @ Kennedy Center Honors 2015

Yes, yes, yes! Legendary Aretha Franklin totally shut it down at the Kennedy Center Honors 2015 that aired in the US last night. Honoring Carole King she sang (You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman, had Carole stunned beyond belief and made Barack Obama cry. At 73 she still has her vocal game on top and we just love when she plays the piano! Honestly we can all go home now - Aretha showed us where the door is, haha. Incredibly good and heartfelt - a performance for the ages. Watch in awe below!  

Polar Music Prize 2012 - Musical Performances

The equivalent to a Nobel Prize for a musician would have to be the Polar Music Prize. This years recipients are Paul Simon and Yo-Yo Ma, who both traveled to Sweden to accept. Both are exceptional at their craft and truly well deserved winners. Some of Sweden's finest contemporary artists paid tribute - and below are what we gathered from our beloved youtube! Really amazing to see the reaction from Paul Simon watching and taking in the moment. Must be such an emotional roller coaster hearing your babies like this sitting next to the Swedish royals and being so in the spotlight for your life accomplishments. Enjoy!

Lana Del Rey - Video Games - Live @ Echo Awards 2012 + American Idol

Lana Del Rey flew into Berlin and performed her Video Games live at Echo Awards last night. She was also nominated for Best International Newcomer but sadly didn't win. The same night a few hours later her pre-recorded Video Games performance for Amercian Idol aired in the US. The latter being our favourite of the two. Check 'em out belooow!

Brit Awards 2012 - Performances

It wasn't all about Adele's middle finger last night at the Brit Awards! Coldplay opened the show with Charlie Brown, Rihanna & Calvin Harris who sold over a million copies of We Found Love in the UK alone gave a big performance. Florence + The Machine did what she does best, she sang at the top of her lungs! Plus Blur got some serious air time! Watch 'em all belooow!

Adele - Rolling In The Deep - Live @ Brit Awards 2012

Congrats is in order to Adele as she won Album of The Year and Best U.K Solo Female Artist at the Brit Awards tonight. She performed Rolling In The Deep - only her second performance since her throat surgery and you can tell she was holding back for sure. Hopefully her voice will be in full swing soon as she's gonna start recording her third album soon! Also, she was cut off from giving a proper acceptance speech when she won album of the year as they were running short on time. Understandable, but since Adele has sold the shit out of her album and pretty much has saved the industry they should have worked around Blur's closing song. She flexed her North London muscles though by giving her middle finger! That pretty much is an epic way of saying THANK YOU SO MUCH for that award! Obvs with M.I.A giving finger at the Superbowl and now this - the middle finger is standard greeting at larger music events.
