Björk - Stonemilker - Live at Carnegie Hall (March 7th 2015)

Björk, to us, has reached a whole new platform in her artistry with the deeply personal Vulnicura album. To share recent and utter heartbreak this openly and not beat around the bush but instead tell it like it is and feels deserves major respect. Yesterday at noon she live premiered the whole album (bar Atom Dance) at Carnegie Hall. This legendary NYC venue has hosted some of the biggest names in the arts and feels perfect for this. Big yet intimate somehow. We adore album opener and now concert opener Stonemilker as it is - but to see it live seems unreal just by this fan footage (brilliant btw) alone. We looove the simplistic stage and how the string section are right behind her and how Maiko Takeda's headpiece is back and acts like body armor for this battle with emotions on a world stage. Not forgetting to mention the patented Björk dance - wonderful! ENJOY! Pic via NY Times

Bruce Springsteen - Royals (Lorde Cover)

We love when artists out on tour change up the setlist to tap into the local flavour. Also, we love when people have a finger on the pulse of things. Both came together beautifully last night when Bruce Springsteen surprised the audience in Auckland, New Zealand by opening his show with a solo performance of local superstar Lorde's Royals. Yes, classic harmonica and all! We love that his vocal is on point to. He's clearly listened to this track a lot. Nice! The song's topic is actually perfect for the Springsteen songbook - money, working class and dreaming of big things. Safe to say the crowd went wild, and so would we. Nice, nice! Check it out below!

Full Concert: Azealia Banks - Live @ Glastonbury

Azealia Banks brought her A game to the Other Stage at Glastonbury yesterday big time. Love how she can do close to an hour's worth of badass beats without even releasing her debut album yet! When is that coming out btw? It's been on hold for a million years! Her 1991 EP and Fantasea mixtape are so strong it carries her across the world nonetheless. She also debuted new single ATM Jam feat. Pharrell Williams plus did her controversial cover of Harlem Shake. Love how the base is a mix of 90's rave and bass heavy beats to spit out her on point rhymes. Perfect for the club and it translates really well to a festival scene in broad daylight too! Her mix of neon club wear, voueing backing dancers, pop friendly hooks and profane laced raps hits the people hard and her confidence as a live performer is incredible. Watch the full set below + find the set list here! Enjoy!

Solange - Live @ Glastonbury

Solange took to the Park stage at Glastonbury yesterday for a full on lovefest. Her sister Beyoncé was the first woman headlining the festival in 25 years (!!) two years ago, so how awesome to see more of that insane Knowles talent gracing the Somerset fields. There definitely needs to be more diversity to say the least; and more women headliners! Losing You is such an awesome song, we can never get enough hearing it both in recorded and live form. Since this was Solange's closer she sounded a bit out of breath, which was a shame for the power of it all. But nonetheless she rocked people's socks! We'll post more videos as they become available. Enjoy!

Goldfrapp - Live @ The Trinity Centre, Bristol

Goldfrapp did an intimate one-off show at the Trinity Centre in Bristol last night as a warm-up for their upcoming album Tales of Us and new tour. These amazing HQ fan videos show a very effortless and organic show staying true to the album versions. No new songs online as of yet so we'll have to wait. Good to hear the old classic sound though! Have a look below! Enjoy!
