Azealia Banks brought her A game to the Other Stage at Glastonbury yesterday big time. Love how she can do close to an hour's worth of badass beats without even releasing her debut album yet! When is that coming out btw? It's been on hold for a million years! Her 1991 EP and Fantasea mixtape are so strong it carries her across the world nonetheless. She also debuted new single ATM Jam feat. Pharrell Williams plus did her controversial cover of Harlem Shake. Love how the base is a mix of 90's rave and bass heavy beats to spit out her on point rhymes. Perfect for the club and it translates really well to a festival scene in broad daylight too! Her mix of neon club wear, voueing backing dancers, pop friendly hooks and profane laced raps hits the people hard and her confidence as a live performer is incredible. We prefer the latter for sure - such a tight flow and well produced by Machinedrum, even sampling Alarma by 666! Holy shit! We don't like fights but this is a solid retort!
