Introducing: Seaker - After I'm Gone

We're wild for London based Kiran Hungin a.k.a. Seaker's voice. Her voice is soul piercing and really reaches in and grabs you. It's commanding without being intrusive - very impressive! After I'm Gone - we're getting slivers of both Kate Bush and Sade when listening with Seaker being her own artist most definitely. Her tone is her own and it's rich and dark, especially over the brooding music that both haunts and is soothing. Lyrically she reads like poetry and each word sounds carefully selected and truly gleams. Cannot wait to hear more!   

Introducing: Bloodboy - Human Female

Absolutely lovin' the debut single from Bloodboy! Human Female is rich with amazing textures. The vocals are front and center with absolute focus and really drives the song forward. The music is intricate with a dark deep tone and flawless effects that just sound so good. That steely guitar! The drum that really helps to hammer home the message of running, searching for meaning, and hoping. The whole track with its flawless production truly gleams like a dark jewel just waiting to be discovered, full of secrets and cuts like a knife. Under her birth name Lexie Papilion, Bloodboy was a competitive surfer in her native California - we're so happy she switched to music instead. We cannot wait to hear more! Love it! 

Introducing: HIPS - Get Up

L.A duo HIPS call themselves HIPSFORLIFE on SoundCloud and this ain't no understatement. Their still unmastered song Get Up mops the floor with us all with its hot beat, badass lyrics and sweet harmonies. It's d.a.n.c.e. and d.i.s.c.o. vibes all 'round and the retro vibe is really well crafted and cool. It's so visual it's crazy - we get vivid images listening of a night out clubbing with an 80's look and bodies grindin' to this and Prince. Top marks! 

Introducing: EXES - quit

Brand new L.A duo EXES, Allie McDonald and Mike Derenzo, sound incredible on their debut single quit. It leaves us both heartbroken and wanting more. The industrial tone paired with the dark choral elements and floating vibe is mesmerizing to say the least. quit sounds like we'd imagine finding a secret pathway when heading home and stepping onto a gleaming surface, not sure what to make of it. In front would be a singing shadow - filled with long forgotten secrets that once tried to be the center of attention and now beckoning through the darkness to join. Somewhere there could be danger, but hidden deep within is a pulsating warmth. Confusing, scary and light all at once. Top marks!  

Introducing: Billie Eilish - Ocean Eyes

L.A based rising artist Billie Eilish has a gorgeous voice that leaves us floored. So pure and soaring, with a dark streak and so incredibly emotive. She uses it so perfectly over that Ocean Eyes beat that must be sent to us from another realm. Gleaming with streaks of pure gold. Love the electronic pulse with that lone piano kickin' in at the end. Plus - how gorgeous are those lyrics? 01.23-01.26 - simply just perfection from it all combined. Diamond mind, indeed. Enjoy!
