Video Premiere: Beyoncé - 7/11

Yoncé is all up on that balcony in her Kale college shirt and knee pads ready to do some slayin'. 7/11 is one of two brand new tracks from her deluxe edition of her Beyoncé album. Yeah, while others invest a lof of cash into their visuals B is using lo-fi to sell her new stuff. Mind you, it probably took quite a lot of work to make it look so carefree, but it totally works. Playing like a tour video we get some major booty action, fun dance routines and a track that is tailor made to create your own video to. Yas, this screams spoofs and tributes in 3,2,1... Enjoy! Thoughts?

Premiere: Beyoncé - drunk n luv (diplo remix)

Yeah! Yoncé n Diplo are too drunkk to spell so we present drunk n luv, da remix. If you plan on gettin' real drunk tonite and grind up on anyone just happening to be standing next to you - this is for ya'll. We have a feeling Jay-Z is sleeping in the bathtub as he is nowhere to be found on this mix either. We really like the distorted sound and messy feeling we get from hearing it, haha. Like 4am and too many drinks getting busy, busy, busy at a house party dancing in the living room thinking you're one hot piece of surfboardt. Below is the dance we're talking about. It also happens to be our favourite moment from the Beyoncé era! Enjoy!

Ane Brun Feat. Linnea Olsson - Halo (Beyoncé Cover)

We love it when amazing Ane Brun takes on well known songs. Luckily for us she does that often. She has incredible taste in music to choose them of course. But then something magical happens. Ane has this thing of completely making them her own, infusing the songs with her unique sound. What comes next is what we love the most. While she transforms classic songs into something new and thrilling, she makes us realize how much we love the originals to begin with. That takes a true musician loving her own body of work we think! Beyoncé's grandly produced show closer Halo becomes a sweet, tender and sunny love poem impossible not to love. By her side is pop cellist Linnea Olsson who adds lovely sunbeams with her craft, and near the end she lends her beautiful husky voice as well. This gem can be found on Rarities which collects some truly wonderful covers including her Björk and Leonard Cohen ones. It's out now! Click here and here for some more amazing Brun covers! Video Premiere: Kelly Rowland - Dirty Laundry (Dirty Version)

We've been waiting a decade for Kelly Rowland to drop a solo song that feels personal and in lack of a better word - minimalistic. She's been hiding deep within guest rappers, dance beats, sexiness and a whole lotta shiny exterior. Now we have at least a piece of the puzzle. Behind it all is a dark past filled with anger, bitterness and an abusive partner. When we heard Dirty Laundry the first time it was definitely a moment. Over a sparse beat the whole story unravels and the video follows suit with broken images and scenes that tells part of the story but doesn't give us everything. We wouldn't wish that kind of existence on anyone and we're so happy Kelly is around to tell her story. Hopefully it can help others break free and find the light again. We all have laundry that needs to be attended to.

Premiere: Beyoncé - Grown Woman (Monsieur Adi Remix)

Beyoncé's Grown Woman decided she needs to spend the cash from that soda commercial on a night on the town. Gone's the African inspiration and organic original beat courtesy of Timbaland - and the Congolese singers got a kende malamu postcard sent to them. Breakout remix connoisseur Monsieur Adi (whom we blogged about yesterday) sets the club on fire with a hard beat and deep bass perfect for a strut off with some serious swag for ya nerve. We really like the original's atmosphere - but like Beyoncé herself this track obviously has a huge wardrobe of different styles and this one says EAT IT! Also; love that Monsieur has gone from bootleg Madonna remixes to official Beyoncé ones in two years flat!
