Premiere: CHVRCHES - Leave A Trace (Goldroom Remix)

CHVRCHES and their electro pop gem Leave A Trace meet up with Goldroom to party and we absolutely love it. The added tropical groove and building on the already existing stellar elements is just ace. The build up is just ridiculous and we're getting hand claps and the clipped vocal from Lauren Mayberry is just perfect here. TOO DAMN GOOD folks and perfect for NYE! ENJOY!  

Mashup: Sia VS. Chvrches - The Chandelier We Share

Sia isn't alone in her rushing and euphoric Chandelier swinging anymore! Oh no! Her L.A manor hallway gets a flawless visit from Scotland in the form of Chvrches and their mother! Amazing times is more fun when shared and this isn't an exception. The Chandelier We Share is a gorgeous piece that sounds amazing. So good they should totally work together on some tracks - minimum a remix! We love the seamless mix of Sia's power house vocals paired with the chopped up ones from Lauren Mayberry and the shining synths and tight musical production. So brilliant! Enjoy! CHVRCHES - It's Not Right But It's Okay (Whitney Houston Cover)

Glasgow synthpop trio CHVRCHES take on Whitney Houston's power vocals and Rodney Jerkins legendary production on their cover of 1998 masterpiece It's Not Right But It's Okay. It's totally left field and we love it + and this is a big +, we finally have a chance to actually be able to sing along to this baby. :D OK, so it's not as powerful as the original but it certainly is sweet and the dirty live arrangement for BBC's Radio 1 will make for a perfect tour staple come fall. Our brain creates images from a high school movie with a road movie theme and Guns and driving at night from this one. The perfect start to a Friday we'd say! Last May we had MS MR's enthralling Hurricane and its video montage as one of our favourites that spring. One year on and that record still stands as fresh since Scottish electro pop band Chvrches gives it a whirl through their gorgeous synths and audio filters. Plus that bass and drum machine! Perfect start to the summer - keep an eye on these two bands! The latter are at #5 this year on BBC's annual list of the most promising new music talent out there. Enjoy below!
