Stream: BANKS - Waiting Game (Judah Remix)

BANKS' dark and sinister Waiting Game becomes an almost meditative club banger in the hands of Minneapolis duo Judah. The airy voice humming soars high above a dark, gleaming river of beats and when the vocals kicks in we enter a house full of shattered dreams. Truly spectacular! A lot of emotions are hiding in the shadows only coming out when it's time to dance to Jillian Banks. We're having this moody seven minute treat on repeat tonight.

Full EP Stream: Hercules and Love Affair - I Try To Talk To You

Wow, talk about a smorgasbord of awesome beats! Hercules and Love Affair's dramatic I Try To Talk To You is one of the absolute highlights for us on brand new album The Feast of the Broken Heart. John Grant's voice is so damn perfect and incredible. The word emotive only touches the surface to say the least. There's a depth and urgency that really touches us. On the remix EP we get some really nice treatments that ranges from a hot n' intense NYC house remix from Seth Troxler, a dissonant and lovely Morgan Geist anthem and finally Viennese deep house from Ha-Ze Factory. Very sweet! Listen to all the goodness below!

Premiere: Lykke Li - Never Gonna Love Again

Lykke Li released her hotly anticipated new album I Never Learn a week early on Spotify. We've been playing a lot and stand out immediately for us is the hypnotizing Never Gonna Love Again. Today we had it on repeat and sang the chorus and it's so catchy and so incredibly devastating at the same time. It's a lullaby with a jukebox heart that crushes you with the weight that only true sadness can bring. It's so superb and singalong friendly though that it's kinda nuts, it's made to sing aloud, and how can you without feeling sadness burn, but keep going anyway? Listen below and stream the whole album here! Thoughts?

Full Album Stream: Paloma Faith - A Perfect Contradiction

Paloma Faith's highly anticipated third album A Perfect Contradiction comes out March 10th and is now streaming in full. Wow, what an amazing collection of songs! Lead single Can't Rely On You opens up and sets the tone. Badass. Mouth to Mouth comes next and drops a classic disco beat all over the place. We love the incredible mix of Motown, disco and we definitely hear some Etta James and James Brown in there too. Only Love Can Hurt Like This is a stunning track lamenting love gone wrong, and the powerful shrieks truly delivers the message perfectly. It has to be said, references and all, Paloma's unique voice is front and center and she sounds so on fire and wonderfully badass and awesome. The production is super tight and we are so snatching this up on Monday to treasure dearly. Wow! Thoughts?!

Premiere: Neneh Cherry Feat. Robyn - Out of The Black (Bouvet Radio Mix)

Wow, Out of The Black literally comes brand new Neneh Cherry and Robyn music! We knew they had collaborated on a track for Neneh's upcoming Blank Project album and suspected it would be geared towards single material. Well, this radio mix by Norwegian producer Bouvet sounds like it's a programmers dream. It reminds a bit of Röyksopp and we feel like crusin' down the PCH or something with this on full blast! Of course the album track could be, and probably is, a 180 from this take - but so good to hear a bit of what they worked on during last summer. The album is out Feb 25th and the full Bouvet remix will be featured on the bonus disc of the physical release. Enjoy! Thoughts?

Update: Looks like Bouvet themselves or their label changed their minds as the stream is gone. We'll keep you posted when it's back again!

Update 2: ...and here is the album version! A lot more organic than the radio mix just like we thought! The Four Tet production sounds like it could be a spontaneous jam sessions at Neneh's house! Thoughts?
