Premiere: Róisín Murphy - Romantic Comedy

Exciting times in the wondrous realm of Róisín Murphy! Her upcoming album Take Her Up To Monto is out next week on the 8th for starters! We officially cannot wait. Luckily for us all - brand new track Romantic Comedy just dropped to tide us ovah. This new album is shaping up to a cousin to her 2005 solo debut Ruby Blue. Premiere: Little Boots - Better In The Morning

Little Boots drops her third album Working Girl on July 10th - her second as label boss for On Repeat Records. First taster is Better In The Morning - on repeat here already! We love how light and airy the atmosphere is and paired with that strong bassline it's club realness and simply gorgeous. Vocals be on point and range from that tight chorus to almost rapped parts with a hot lower register. Yas Victoria, you rock! Lovin' the nod to both Tom Tom Club and Annie with that unique Caligula twist. It's perfect for summer, enjoy below!

Premiere: Lykke Li - Never Gonna Love Again

Lykke Li released her hotly anticipated new album I Never Learn a week early on Spotify. We've been playing a lot and stand out immediately for us is the hypnotizing Never Gonna Love Again. Today we had it on repeat and sang the chorus and it's so catchy and so incredibly devastating at the same time. It's a lullaby with a jukebox heart that crushes you with the weight that only true sadness can bring. It's so superb and singalong friendly though that it's kinda nuts, it's made to sing aloud, and how can you without feeling sadness burn, but keep going anyway? El Perro Del Mar - Walk On By (Andrew Hung Remix)

El Perro Del Mar's Walk On By is one of our top three songs of 2012. Andrew Hung of Fuck Buttons transforms the original delicate and powerful track into a sparse and even more somber affair and we cannot get enough. Something strangely soothing and hypnotic with this remix. The amazing groove is replaced with and end of days feel and it's so good! Listen below!

The Best of 2012: The Year In Music

2012 has offered some truly amazing music moments for us! We saw Grimes, El Perro Del Mar and Madonna live in concert to mention but a few! Very awesome! Album wise we're blown away by what we've had on repeat. It feels unreal that Lana Del Rey's Born To Die album came out only this year, not to mention twice, haha! We've played it so many times it feels like it's been out forever. Frank Ocean's Channel Orange album with it raw emotions and amazing instrumentation. So good! Other standouts for us on repeat are First Aid Kit, Azealia Banks and Bat For Lashes. Also so happy for new material from truly iconic artists like Björk, Tori Amos and Sinéad O'Connor! Below we've gathered some of our personal favorites from the year just passed. Moments of pure clarity and happiness collected on one Spotify playlist! How awesome Solange made such a splash with her brilliant True EP this late in the year! AMAZING! Enjoy below and do gives us your thoughts on your faves!
