Video Premiere: Lykke Li - Never Gonna Love Again

We love Lykke Li's I Never Learn album and our favourite track is the magical Never Gonna Love Again. It's heartbreaking but oh so damn catchy to sing along to the chorus! LL has a knack for turning utter devastation into an exquisite art form when we basically just think heartbreak sucks. Love it! It's empowering to be so in touch with your feelings that a song like this can be written for sure. The video is a look into the crash that was her relationship and her stage persona. It's a cracker of a video (pun intended) so get to watching!

Loneliness and heartbreak follows you everywhere and they are loudest right after the lights go out and the crowds quiet. Here's is an intimate glimpse of how it can be to live your dream whilst stuck in your dream. In the lonely wolf hour, the night becomes your stage, the stars your audience, the rain your memories.

Premiere: Woodkid Feat. Lykke Li - Never Let You Down (Insurgent OST)

Almost too much goodness at once! Woodkid and Lykke Li on one gorgeous track? Believe it! For the soundtrack to upcoming sci-fi action movie Insurgent they've recorded Never Let You Down - a slow burner of a torch song that melts away any snow on the ground or any ice around a heart. It's majestic with amazing strings and drums pounding their way into any lonely hour to guide the way out. We love that their voices are so different and compliment each other so well. They're front and center just as they should. LOVE!

Premiere: Emile Haynie Feat. Lykke Li & Romy - Come Find Me

Wow, wow, wow! Seasoned producer Emile Haynie's debut album We Fall is shaping up to be a grand and stellar affair! He produced Lana Del Rey's Born To Die you can certainly hear that in the dreaminess and usage of strings to elevate the atmosphere for his own songs. Come Find Me features amazing Lykke Li on lead vocals and Romy Madley-Croft of The xx on guitar. Talk about the perfect trio! We love the slow burner that this torch song really is. It's moody, tender and powerful all wrapped up into one. Cannot wait for the album to drop on February 23rd! Enjoy!

Premiere: Lykke Li - Gunshot (FAUL Remix)

We can't, nor do we want to, get over how amazing Lykke Li's I Never Learn era really is. Every song on that album gets to us. Gunshot goes through our head often in the best way possible. It's devastatingly good and devastating at the same time. The frankness and earnest delivery really gets to us. Parisian DJ FAUL turns the sorrow into a deep house treat and that mix really gets to us. Dance to someone's utter heartbreak? We're afraid we're gonna have to as this is a major jam. The new bassline shines along with the superb vocals and the added synth touches several nerve endings here. Too good! Enjoy!

Premiere: Lykke Li - Gunshot Remixes

The pain in Lykke Li's Gunshot is exquisite somehow. The harmonies elevates the absolute darkness into a starry night sky filled with fireflies. The light in times of despair and the rawness of it all is what we're aiming for here. These new remixes gets to the point. Paul Thomas Saunders adds a really smooth bassline and tops with a piercing synth and a drum evoking the sound of gunshots. It's anguish in a very stylish form. Duos San Zhi and The Shoes collaborates and wow this is so damn cool. The club beat and slick way it all comes together kinda lift the whole pain into the stratosphere and makes us really feel Lykke's turmoil and desolate state when the buildup explodes. Too good! Thoughts?
