Free Download: Tori Amos - Professional Widow (ANTWON&NTM 2015 EDIT)

For Tori Amos fans her Boys For Pele album era in '96 & '97 was an especially glowing time. It was considered then as her least commercial and accessible material released yet debuted at #2 in the US and was her first to debut in the top 10. Fans had a reason to celebrate big time as it sold well, had a multitude of layers to try and penetrate plus scored a huge and now timeless dance classic. Professional Widow, thought to be about Courtney Love, is in its album version a funky, hellish and brutal song filled with harpsichord and sharp vocals and lyrcis that borrow from Edgar Allan Poe's short story The Sphinx. For the single release it had a huge makeover by Armand Van Helden that cut up the lyrics with *it's got to be big* looped as a mantra + added in the song title. It also added a gorgeous club beat for the ages. The result was a huge #1 in the UK that became a club classic. Welsh duo ANTWON&NTM builds on this remix with a sleek deep house feel. Love how it adds a contemporary vibe yet doesn't lose the shimmer of its roots. The guys from Swansea truly offers something new and big that Tori's picky widow would have no problems accepting. Top marks!

Diana Ross' 1980 US #1 Upside Down is one for the ages and one of the finest dance tracks ever to be released. We dare anyone to be able and sit still at a party if it comes on! Written and produced by Chic's Nile Rodgers and Bernard Edwards it still sounds as crisp as way back when. German DJ Céon takes a very contemporary approach to his bootleg and infuses his future house remix with pitched down vocals and infectious strings. Nice! This mix would sound awesome at a huge warehouse party somewhere at 3am that's for sure!

We were, and still are, in such a mood for a hot house bootleg! Hellooo to this dirty deep house remix of Kylie Minogue's iconic Body Language single Slow. Released in 2003 it was a big hit and still stands as her most current UK #1 single. The pulsating electro original is tailor made for dancing slowly to and perhaps grind a lil', haha. This killer bootleg though by Russian duo MAJENTA amps it up and at the same pitch down KM's vocals. The result is a super hot deep house treatment with a tight production that is m a d e for dancing to in a sweaty basement holding on to the cold beer for dear life and waiting for the word slow to kick in! Love that they kept it out for a bit! ENJOY!

Free Download: Crystal Waters - Gypsy Woman (Vicktor Deep House Remix)

Gypsy Woman (She's Homeless) became a huge hit (US #8, UK #2) for Crystal Waters when it was released in early 1991. Close to 25 years on it's still a point of reference musically for producers and can tear up many a dance floor. Love it! Sadly, the social commentary about homelessness is as on point now as it was back then. Something in Crystal's voice really sends the message so direct not to mention the hard hitting lyrics. Perth based DJ Vicktor treats the original to a deep house remix and we really like the new groove and drama. It's perfect to dance to this summer! La da dee, la da da...

But we want mooore and it's been a bit quiet lately. Nathan Zorndorf a.k.a. NAEKID sorts this out with his badass deep house remix of Ultraviolence! Love how Lana's vocals kinda floats around like a restless ghost, forever haunted by her insane man and his crazy ways. It's a stark contrast to the catchy and tight production that is so well made and would fit any official remix EP. It's dark, fun, cohesive and disjointed all at once.
