El Perro Del Mar - Pale Fire - Full Album Stream

We've been on a real El Perro Del Mar high lately - seeing her live three days ago was such an experience! Her Pale Fire album is already getting universal acclaim and ahead of its November 12th release it's now available to stream. Nice! Sarah is an incredible talent and we're so impressed with the atmosphere that runs throughout the record. She's really captured the times we live in - searching for hope in a world that seems harsher both politically and environmentally. Samples and 90's inspired house beats mix with her amazing voice paints beautiful and sad pictures of broken promises, a dying world and the longing for a better tomorrow. The pale fire flickers just from the albums sequence and cohesive gorgeousness alone. Just the album version of Walk On By with its added samples of Dorian Corey's wistful Paris Is Burning monologue and Massive Attack/Shara Nelson's Unfinished Sympathy is simply a masterpiece. Oh Sarah, your arrow indeed went real high.

Ellie Goulding - Live @ The Troubadour - Full Show

Ellie Goulding performed a very intimate show at The Trobadour in L.A last Tuesday for some very loving fans. She seems to have some very adoring fans and rightfully so! The mutual love is evident just looking at the recording. Nice! Ellie's performance was based mostly on her new album Halcyon with added tracks from her debut album Lights. Most notably the title track that is still after more than a year on Billboard's Hot 100 is still at #15! Incredible feat to have the title track of your debut in the top 20 when you are promoting the follow up album! We could have done without her Elton John cover Your Song, but then again you can't have it all, haha. The Starry Eyed ending left people just that! Have a look belooow! Enjoy!

Bat For Lashes - The Haunted Man - Full Album Stream

Start playing Bat For Lashes new album The Haunted Man and you enter a parallel dimension full of lights orbiting around you. You wander and walk into a forest, creaking sounds, trees electrified giving off a strange glow. There in the middle you see a creature sitting alone in a dark corner singing by a piano. Other voices rush towards you and you see a house with a party inside. This was what came to mind when we first listened to the album in full. If you like us have played Laura, Marilyn and All Your Gold to pieces already it's immensely intriguing to hear them in this setting. We're absolutely mad for Oh Yeah that leads up to Laura. Its electro beat and drum machine is like a forest path leading up to the magical piano. Album opener Lilies is equally rushing, just to mention a few, with Natasha crying out Thank God I'm Alive! over a soaring horn section and gorgeous strings. It's such a treat to hear her voice, choirs, shimmering electro, 18th centrury references and the grace that binds it all together. Sky Ferreira - Ghost EP - Full Stream

Sky Ferreira's Ghost EP comes out the 16th ahead of debut album I'm Not Alright later in the year. We're blown away by opener Sad Dream. That one alone is worth buying the EP for! It reminds us of Carla Bruni and Charlotte Gainsbourg - how perfect is that? Amazing. We so prefer her acoustic material to the electro pop for sure. It feels more real and her voice seems more sincere for some reason. This taster got us real curious for the album. Enjoy! Thoughts?
