Premiere: Paloma Faith - Ready For The Good Life

Paloma Faith must've really snuck around with the premiere online of Ready For The Good Life! Sneaky, sneaky! Here it issss in all its glory! It'll be released as the lead single to her Outsiders Edition of the A Perfect Contradiction album, out November 10th. Sounding fresh and also like a slick throwback this really adds to her existing, very cool, discography. Working with frequent Robyn collaborator Klas Åhlund for the first time sounds like they both really had a good life going on. We're too ready now for 'em to continue together like this and bring it. We're ready!

Premiere: Paloma Faith - Only Love Can Hurt Like This (MS MR Remix)

Paloma Faith's Motown-esque (and Diane Warren penned) lament on love gone wrong Only Love Can Hurt Like This gets a major rework by hot eclectic duo MS MR. The throwback qualities that sound amazing gets replaced by a meditative electronic vibe. A lullaby for adults out on the town with wet pavement and broken hearts aching in the shining light from the street light...

Full Album Stream: Paloma Faith - A Perfect Contradiction

Paloma Faith's highly anticipated third album A Perfect Contradiction comes out March 10th and is now streaming in full. Wow, what an amazing collection of songs! Lead single Can't Rely On You opens up and sets the tone. Badass. Mouth to Mouth comes next and drops a classic disco beat all over the place. We love the incredible mix of Motown, disco and we definitely hear some Etta James and James Brown in there too. Only Love Can Hurt Like This is a stunning track lamenting love gone wrong, and the powerful shrieks truly delivers the message perfectly. It has to be said, references and all, Paloma's unique voice is front and center and she sounds so on fire and wonderfully badass and awesome. The production is super tight and we are so snatching this up on Monday to treasure dearly. Wow! Thoughts?!

Premiere: Paloma Faith - Can't Rely On You (MK Remix)

We're loving Paloma Faith's new era! Her Pharrell Williams produced Can't Rely On You saw her head off into a new direction musically and the raw and organic groove really suits her. Legendary 90's Detroit house producer Marc Kinchen steps in and throws his red hot house piano on there and magic happens. Honestly, What The Actual F. How are we supposed to get anything done tonight?! We just wanna d.a.n.c.e! The chopped up vocals over that hammering piano and hand claps and all. Plus this sounds like a major love torn house diva moment for the ages. We can already see this being a classic 12" - 20 years from now! Just you wait! The new Paloma Faith album A Perfect Contradiction comes out on March 3rd. Enjoooy!

Premiere: Paloma Faith - Love Only Leaves You Lonely

Paloma Faith is channeling some major Caravaggio 1602 The Entombment of Christ realness on the sleeve to her upcoming A Perfect Contradiction album. Albeit a tad more glamorous and coiffed we have to say. Her new single Love Only Leaves You Lonely has an intro that makes us think about the intro to the Eagles evergreen Hotel California. The rest of the song is a bluesy lament to love gone wrong and the rawness and honesty shines in Paloma's delivery. It sounds like we've stepped into a joint somewhere with a tiny stage and an open mic night with this baby stirring the souls of the audience. Lead single Can't Rely On You is a killer so come its March 3rd release it sounds like we're gonna have an eclectic and raw album in our speakers. Enjoy! Thoughts?
