Premiere: Lana Del Rey feat. The Weeknd - Lust For Life

Lana Del Rey is gearing up for the release of her fifth studio album Lust For Life later this year. The title track just dropped and features The Weeknd - the songs they have done together are pretty awesome so the bar is high. Thankfully both come through and this is a really sweet listen. It sounds very LANA circa Born To Die era. Namely Without You. The verses on Lust For Life shakes us with its lowkey verses that explode every time in that stirring chorus. Love the shift in energy and how well the Del Rey anthem aspects blend with Weeknd that patented falsetto. Hopefully a big hit! Thoughts? 

Premiere: The Weeknd & Daft Punk - Starboy

The Weeknd and Daft Punk are slaying with Starboy - the brand new single they've done together and just dropped. Such an excellent track that seamlessly blends the classic soundscapes of both acts. Yeah, baby! Absolutely lovin' Abęl's fantastic vocals and depth against the robo-funk of the beat, complete vith Daft vocoder backing vocals and all. It's a dizzying song filled with starry nights and despair, love and warmth trickling down through it all. This also marks the first new Daft music since their 2013 Random Access Memories album, and also new Weeknd since his major breakthrough last year with Beauty Behind the Madness. Top marks!

Wow, 2015 has really flown by - at least to us! We are having so much fun listening to hot beats and writing this blog and wanna thank you for being right there with us! THANK YOU! This year we've been listening to a ton of amazing breaking artists - Jones, Elias, Kacy Hill, the list goes on & on. We got a brand new album from Róisín Murphy - the first in 8 years and Björk produced the mother of all breakup albums and took us on an emotional journey through icy barren land. We met Little Boots in Copenhagen and it was a true pleasure - so nice + she gave us a sneak peek of her then upcoming (awesome) album. Honestly, this is one of the best tracks of the year so far! The combined darkness of The Weeknd and Lana Del Rey is simply exquisite and made us a Prisoner in an instant. It sounds so contemporary yet so timeless. It's so effortless and elegant even that we have a hard time focusing on any element that we like the best. It's so perfect! The Weeknd's much hyped debut album Beauty Behind The Madness was released early over the weekend after leaking in full. Make sure to listen to it in full as it's destined to the top of 2015's best of lists! Enjoy!
