Introducing: Yasmin Green - Spectrum VS. Say My Name

Just the first hit of Yasmin Green's voice and you get all warm inside. She has such a rich tone it's like butter and honey to listen to! Not to mention pitch perfect too! And what a great mix of songs! At least to us as it happens we love both Florence + The Machine's Spectrum (Say My Name) and DC's immortal cheating anthem Say My Name. Yasmin, alumni of The BRIT School for Performing Arts, revitalize both tracks together with her producer Ian Copeland Green and create an incredible rhythm impossible not to stomp to! Keep an eye on 'em both for sure! Top marks guys! 

Explicit Version: Mariah Carey & Miguel - #Beautiful

We really like Mimi and Miguel's #Beautiful single and it seems we're not the only one as it hit #20 on Billboard last week. The perfect laid back summer anthem! Looks like they wanna collect some cool point too as they just released the explicit version, haha. We still like it and some ass and fuck won't make us go all crazy over it though, haha. We wanna hear Mimi swear! Hear her talk dirty about Miguel's ass or something, haha. PLUS the ridiculous video became even more awkward as it omits the bike ride sequence and just has MC dancin' around in that barn. Can they spell male gaze? Haha. It's a disconnected video for sure. But the song dirty or not is a banger! Enjoy! 

Madonna VS. Daft Punk - A Lucky Mashup

Ooo, this mashup makes us tingle all over, haha! How awesome would it be if MDNA were to collaborate with Daft Punk?! Some hot beats for her next album are in due order for sure! PLUS legend Nile Rodgers who co-wrote and plays his heavenly guitar on Get Lucky produced Madonna's Like A Virgin album! Not to mention Pharrell's work on the Hard Candy album. The pitch on her voice in the mix made us smile for some reason. It sounds crazy and totally works! We can see this blowing up any party this summer and some! Nice work by Dutch producer Trillian Miles for sure. Thanks Jay! :))

Premiere: Kylie Minogue - Skirt

Kylie Minogue signed to Jay-Z's Roc Nation late last year after 25 years with the same management. The first track after this move just dropped! Skirt is written by The-Dream, the man behind Rihanna's Umbrella and Beyoncé's Single Ladies (Put a Ring On It) and Scottish Breakbeat DJ Chris Elliott a.k.a Nom De Strip. Over a dirty beat KM talks about a wild night and what happened when she got home. While this looks like it could be a demo/remix we're getting some Donna Summer's Love To Love You Baby for the future vibes hearing this. We had no idea what to expect from her new sound but by this preview Sex Kylie from her Did It Again video is in full force. From the initial listen we're thinking it'll probably make club DJ's very happy, but it feels a bit hard and calculated, lacking in warmth. Here's hoping future releases showcases her funny and warm side too!  

Premiere: Jessie J - Wild

Jessie J goes hard on her new single Wild that's for sure! Her badass rock solid vocal is super tight above an infectious beat inspired by military drumming. Produced by veteran Claude Kelly, who also helped her fire up the massive hit Price Tag we're sure this baby will head down the same route. Below is the solo take, with the version featuring Dizzee Rascal and Big Sean can be found here. Sadly that version is watermarked so a bit so so to experience. Enjoy! Thoughts?
