Dare we hope for minimalistic vegan sandwiches macerated in wine from a 14th century Italian monastery? Eaten with the greatest of ease in the office of Anna Wintour wearing a body bib from Nakkna? Oh! The thing is she neeeeds your help with the soundtrack! She and her director friend Jim Hansen are looking for some original music - dancey, clubby, dubby, tracks that reminds you of Alek Wek on disco snow. So if you're a musician send us a Facebook message w your track and we will pass it along to her for consideration! Yes! Good luck!

Beyoncé - I Was Here - Live @ United Nations General Assembly

Tomorrow the 19th it's the World Humanitarian Day dedicated to recognize humanitarian personnel and those who have lost their lives working for humanitarian causes. This exact date is dedicated to the memory of Sérgio Vieira de Mello a UN employee for 34 years and his 21 colleagues who were killed in the bombing of UN's Baghdad HQ in 2003. Beyoncé's I Was Here becomes the perfect soundtrack and she's released this special performance at the United Nations General Assembly. It's incredibly powerful and suggestive - and what a breathtaking production! We all can contribute in making this world a better place - big or small. Even huge accomplishments starts with a first step!

Peaches - Free Pussy Riot - Video + Free Download

The idea of being arrested for speaking your mind and expressing your opinions is mind-boggling to us. Sadly we are acutely aware that this is the case in some parts of the world. Just imagine if this blog would be targeted as the enemy by a government - simply because we write about what we like. This is the case with Russian punk act Pussy Riot - who saw three members detained and tried as hooligans because they are against the sitting president Vladimir Putin + the Russian patriarchate, and expressed their views publicly. We're sure you have read about it! However, the verdict is in tomorrow and we urge you to take a stand to show that the world is watching. Peaches has put together a video and started a change.org petition that will show that we are united and free-thinkers who wants these women released. Plus we're thinking it's time to lift the issue of political prisoners and prisoners of conscience even further up on the agenda! #freepussyriot! Sign and spread here! Amnesty petition here! Ellie Goulding - Anything Could Happen - Premiere

Ellie Goulding's lead single Anything Could Happen for her upcoming album Halcyon premiered on BBC Radio One a few hours ago - and here's the lyric video for it! We love that she collaborated with her fans on Instagram to create this piece, very cute images! The track is a retro tinged one that reminds us a lot of experimental 80's tracks.
