Donna Summer - I Feel Love Documentary (Narrated by Alison Goldfrapp)

One of the most important artists in the world of music as we know it died today. Donna Summer died of cancer at the age of 63. Much too soon. Such a super sad day for us music lovers. Without a doubt the work she did with Giorgio Moroder and Pete Bellotte was forever game changing and pushed any boundaries out of the way for good. Love To Love You Baby with its 15 min of pure pleasure, the electronic masterpiece I Feel Love and iconic heartache song On The Radio to name but a few. We can honestly say we listen to I Feel Love on a weekly basis and can never ever get enough. Like never - ever. Those vocals - that sickening beat. Argh! A lot can be said about Donna's career, but instead of going on and on - we remembered we had this awesome radio documentary from BBC Radio 2 narrated by Alison Goldfrapp - with frickin' Giorgio himself and sound bites from Ana Matronic, Jimmy Somerville and Debbie Harry. Fascinating stuff! We're listening tonight and remembering the amazing legacy Donna has left behind. Rest in peace, dear Donna.

Gossip - Perfect World (Seamus Haji Remix Video)

Seamus Haji takes Beth Ditto, Brace Paine and Hannah Blilie aka Gossip for a night out on the town and buys them a round of drinks! His remix of their Perfect World is classic Haji with a sick bass and layered synths with the vocals soaring high above. Nice! We can hear this blasting out of clubs in 3, 2, 1... Chanel - Cruise Collection 2013 - Full Fashion Show

Uncle Karl and his house of Chanel presented a badass mash-up of eighteenth century French aristocracy and modern punk rock n' roll style for the cruise collection at Versailles this week. We love the idea of taking couture and mixing them with contemporary urban elements. The classic Chanel suit mixed with trainers and a baroque wig? Yes plz. We'll have that for cocktails soon. We can't wait to see what this will look like in the shops and on the buyers. NICE usage of the music too - our fave Swede rapper Gnucci Banana and also Crookers to name but a few. Sweet! Björk - Cosmogony + Virus - Biophilia Remix Series lll

It's Monday - and yes it's time for brand new Björk remixes! Turns out we already wrote about one of 'em last weeeeek and thought is was a well crafted bootleg. But no! It's an official one! This week it's Biophilia Remix Series lll and it offers the heavenly take on Virus (Peaches and Guacamol Rework) by Scottish electronic producer Hudson Mohawke. We love the majestic sounds of it so. Pablo Díaz-Reixa a.k.a El Guincho is the man behind the Cosmogony one - he's a Spanish musician who is also known in Spanish speaking countries as an expert lullaby singer for children.
