Introducing: Alaskan Knight - Cabin Fever EP

Say hello to Tim Commandeur a.k.a Alaskan Knight and his debut EP Cabin Fever! This Sydney based insanely talented DIY musician blew us away just with the first bars of his music! The blend of organic and electronic plus that strong and flexible voice is really awesome. Actually it reminds us of Sydney - the hard and pulsating city life paired with the carefree and awesome beach culture. His background as a drummer in various bands really shines through as it's simply amazing. PLUS - he's a multi talent as he plays all instruments on the EP! The production is impeccable too and we have a hard time picking a favourite. Luckily we don't have to as the full EP streams below. If you're hot for bands like The xx, Phoenix and Miike Snow you'll love this! This is only the beginning of something really great for sure. Premiere: Ellie Goulding - Burn

Ellie Goulding is back with a brand new single, 8 months after the release of her sophomore album Halcyon! We're thinking she's either gonna do a Rihanna and drop a new album, or tag this baby on a re-release. Either way, Burn is a charming slow burner with chopped and pitched vocals, big drums and synths. It doesn't pack a punch like Starry Eyed or Lights, but it's still a sweet listen. Enjoy below! Röyksopp - Ice Machine (Depeche Mode Cover) [Ewan Pearson Darkroom Scene Remix]

So many talented people in this post there's no room in the title! Late last year Röyksopp and Susanne Sundfør debuted their collaboration Running To The Sea and also a Depeche Mode cover - Ice Machine. Now the latter is seeing a wider release on the Röyksopp DJ compilation Late Night Tales + in remixed form. Frequent DM collaborator Ewan Pearson does his spin on it and takes the minimalistic electronic original into a more big room, ahem, darkroom feeling. We can imagine the moving bodies in a dimly lit club already with everything going completely dark and people feeling each other up! Listen to the remix + Röyksopp edit below! Enjoy!
