Premiere: Depeche Mode - Where's the Revolution

Depeche Mode managed to time the release of Where's the Revolution with some serious political changes with us feeling like we're staring into the abyss in a catastrophic climate. DM channels this into a synth heavy track with a chant like chorus and dark undercurrents. There's nothing to ease the mind just as what's on the news 24/7 at the moment; and maybe forever? DM album Spirit is out on March 17th and the Global Spirit Tour follows later this summer. Listen below. Thoughts?

Röyksopp - Ice Machine (Depeche Mode Cover) [Ewan Pearson Darkroom Scene Remix]

So many talented people in this post there's no room in the title! Late last year Röyksopp and Susanne Sundfør debuted their collaboration Running To The Sea and also a Depeche Mode cover - Ice Machine. Now the latter is seeing a wider release on the Röyksopp DJ compilation Late Night Tales + in remixed form. Frequent DM collaborator Ewan Pearson does his spin on it and takes the minimalistic electronic original into a more big room, ahem, darkroom feeling. We can imagine the moving bodies in a dimly lit club already with everything going completely dark and people feeling each other up! Listen to the remix + Röyksopp edit below! Enjoy! Btw, click here for the original 1981 version as taken from the B-side of DM debut single Dreaming of Me.

►epeche ▲▲ode - Soothe My Soul - Premiere

Depeche Mode just dropped the second single Soothe My Soul from upcoming Delta Machine album. What a great way to kickstart the weekend! This synth gem feels like the kid sibling to massive Violator hits such as Personal Jesus and Enjoy The Silence. Real awesome! The dark and mysterious feel drives us wild and Dave Gahan's vocals really get a chance to soar in the chorus after the heavy verses. Listen belooow!

Depeche Mode - Heaven (Freemasons Remix)

Depeche Mode's dramatic ballad Heaven becomes a Freemasons banger with that patented club beat! Listening to this version it kinda reminds in parts of Personal Jesus - a distant cousin at least! Their 13th album Delta Machine drops on March 22nd and we're real curious. Some new hard electronic beats from 'em would indeed be heaven. Enjoy below!

Röyksopp Feat. Susanne Sundfør - Ice Machine (Depeche Mode Cover)

We're crazy in love with Röyksopp and Susanne Sundfør's brand new track Running To The Sea that they premiered last week. So good!! During their Lydverket showcase they did something incredible apart from releasing a new track - they did a flawless Depeche Mode cover! Dying. SO good! Ice Machine is entirely written by legendary Vince Clarke and can be found on the 1988 re-release of their 1981 debut album Speak & Spell. We cannot even begin to discuss how good this is! Susanne's voice is so incredible and the updated arrangement that follows the original is badass. So tight! And as always we're suckers for when Svein Berge and Torbjørn Brundtland do some vocals themselves. Listen, listen! Cannot wait for more material from this trio!
