Premiere: Röyksopp Feat. Susanne Sundfør - Never Ever

Hurrah! Brand new Röyksopp and Susanne Sundfør is Never Ever a bad thing! After Svein Berge and Torbjørn Brundtland left the album format last year and venturing into a more loosely based release cycle we're more than happy it's not the end of new Röyksopp music! This single has already ruffled the feathers of their fan base. Judging by comments ppl are upset about the more than commercial production and we can hear what they mean. It's a very accessible sound that takes part of the duo's formula and turn 'em into a, dare we say, radio hit. The three collaborated in 2013 on the magical Running To The Sea and the darkness there is lacking here. Not a bad thing perhaps as a palate cleaser for things to come. PLUS, that drum machine does things to us - so hot! Listen below! Thoughts?

Premiere: Susanne Sundfør - Delirious (Richard X Remix)

Susanne Sundfør really knows how to get us going! Her new single Delirious is a cinematic and dramatic electro pop gem much like her 2012 collaboration with fellow amazing Norwegians Röyksopp. *death drops* British producer and remixer Richard X is famous for his incredible work spanning over a decade with Norway's very own badass Annie. You already can tell how good this is yes?! We're actually delirious from this amped up version. The drama sounds so incredibly good when connected to the brightness of this pop vein. Damn, it's so zesty and exciting! This line: "I told you not to come, my victim number one." - paired with a heavy bassline and drum machine - holy crap! Susanne's fifth studio album Ten Love Songs is out on February 16th and we officially cannot wait! Thoughts?

Premiere: Röyksopp Feat. Susanne Sundfør - Running To The Sea (Villa Remix)

On December 16th - over a year after the live premiere and then the Scandinavian only release the rest of the world will have full (legal with no import needed) access to the magical masterpiece that is Running To The Sea. The Norwegian super trio that is Röyksopp and Susanne Sundfør really struck creative gold in the making of this stunning single. A new remixes package is about to drop and first up is this stomper by Belgian duo Villa. The wonderful ethereal atmosphere is still around, but shares the spotlight with an added harder beat and direction. Almost like a poetry writing shy person getting dragged out to go bar hopping with the rowdy outgoing sibling. Or if it's us, we're both people, haha! Anyway, have a listen below! Please don't wait a full year for the next single boys!

Röyksopp - Ice Machine (Depeche Mode Cover) [Ewan Pearson Darkroom Scene Remix]

So many talented people in this post there's no room in the title! Late last year Röyksopp and Susanne Sundfør debuted their collaboration Running To The Sea and also a Depeche Mode cover - Ice Machine. Now the latter is seeing a wider release on the Röyksopp DJ compilation Late Night Tales + in remixed form. Frequent DM collaborator Ewan Pearson does his spin on it and takes the minimalistic electronic original into a more big room, ahem, darkroom feeling. We can imagine the moving bodies in a dimly lit club already with everything going completely dark and people feeling each other up! Listen to the remix + Röyksopp edit below! Enjoy! Btw, click here for the original 1981 version as taken from the B-side of DM debut single Dreaming of Me.

Röyksopp Feat. Susanne Sundfør - Running To The Sea (Live @ Skavlan)

Röyksopp and Susanne Sundfør performed what has become their sleeper hit Running To The Sea on Scandinavia's biggest chat show Skavlan over the weekend. It's an amazing track and we so want them to shoot a video and promote the hell out of it! From what we can think of this is just the second performance of it since the premiere in November. As always - love Susanne's voice and the added live synths are pure gold! Enjoy! For the studio version click here
