Free Download: Ellie Goulding VS. Daft Punk - Lose Yourself To Burn

Ellie Goulding's first ever UK #1 Burn gets some serious funky swag when paired with Daft Punk's latest single Lose Yourself To Dance. That sick Nile Rodgers guitar always gives us life and Ellie sounds more loosened up to really burn, burn, burn, burn. The organic disco sound really suits her style and vocal delivery! We love Pharell Williams original vox but after hearing Get Lucky everywhere the last six months it's very refreshing to hear this track with a new voice. The person behind is Norwegian producer Cosmic Dawn and we can't thank enough. Time to invest in some bell bottoms and platforms and d.a.n.c.e! Enjoy!

World Premiere: Nina Persson - Animal Heart

We're majorly excited right now! Nina Persson just world premiered her solo debut single Animal Heart on Swedish radio and just the intro alone make us crazy nuts! The 80's keyboard references are just too good! We're trying not to be bias as we love her bands The Cardigans and A Camp, plus used to live and socialize in the same neighbourhood earlier. It's wild to think that she's about to release her solo debut album in early 2014 - after more than 20 years in the game! We had no idea what to expect sound wise but we really like the mix of synth and singer songwriter, although we wouldn't have minded one bit if the former had taken up more space. The flow is gorgeous and we love Nina's powerful vocals, her depth and crystal clear tone are to die for. Listen below! Thoughts? Update: Nina just released the video! Set in her new home of Harlem we get to follow her around in a one take video. It even looks like the brownstone could be her own actual home. We like the idea a lot, and would have loved if the quirkiness was even more amped up! We want moooore! Love the way she sometimes stares at the camera. True villain look!

Premiere: Say Lou Lou - Beloved

Another stunning and crushingly gorgeous but aching song from dream pop twin duo Say Lou Lou. Beloved serves as a double A-side release with Better In The Dark on their major label debut with Columbia Records. Miranda and Elektra Kilbey started their own label, à Deux Records, this year as well so the release is a joint partnership. Sickenin' truly! So much talent, beauty and business acumen it's enough to power a whole village, haha. Beloved is a guitar heavy heavenly track filled with eternal existential questions about love and togetherness. It's enough to make us cry, and if we do, we're sure it's gonna be salty but stylish tears.

Oh, if I'm your beloved, why don't I fit here?

Premiere: Röyksopp Feat. Susanne Sundfør - Running To The Sea (Villa Remix)

On December 16th - over a year after the live premiere and then the Scandinavian only release the rest of the world will have full (legal with no import needed) access to the magical masterpiece that is Running To The Sea. The Norwegian super trio that is Röyksopp and Susanne Sundfør really struck creative gold in the making of this stunning single. A new remixes package is about to drop and first up is this stomper by Belgian duo Villa. The wonderful ethereal atmosphere is still around, but shares the spotlight with an added harder beat and direction. Almost like a poetry writing shy person getting dragged out to go bar hopping with the rowdy outgoing sibling. Or if it's us, we're both people, haha! Anyway, have a listen below! Please don't wait a full year for the next single boys!

Premiere: Britney Spears - Perfume

Britney Spears just premiered her Sia penned song Perfume, the second single from her eighth studio album Britney Jean. B herself has said it's her personal favourite from the album and we can hear why. Since we haven't heard anything else so far than the annoying Work Bitch and this it's easy at least to our ears to hear what she perfers. Perfume sounds raw and personal and her voice is high up in the mix. Also, it has a universal topic that can connect with many without being too diluted. That eerie feeling you can get when things don't add up with a loved one but you can't pinpoint it exactly. In this case infidelity, but it can be many things of course. We like this also sounds like a distant relative of the magical Everytime. Sia really knows how to write poems in pop form. Listen below! Thoughts? Also, the tie-ins are endless as Britney is literally the queen of perfumes with her (so far) 13 different fragrances!

Update: The time has come for some Perfume visuals, ya'll! Britney Spears dropped her 8th studio album Britney Jeans (typo that stays), and was met with mixed reviews. We've listened a few times and am quite shocked at the dated EDM beats blaring out from the speakers. One of the keepers from this era is this Sia co-penned slow burner. We really like that B's vocals sound pretty raw and saved from heavy processing. The video is equal in rawness. What could be slated for being another boring one of two women fighting over a man in their underwear at least has some undertones to it. We're not give away too much, but at the end neither looks happy. We're getting some Lana Del Rey vibes and like she says. Sometimes love is not enough, and the road gets tough I don't know why. Lastly, B gets top marks for not overusing the fact that she runs a billion dollar perfume empire.
