This cover has its roots more in *dream pop* with a singer songwriter approach. It's dirtier and that extended note send shivers of pleasure down our spine. Nice! Ooo, new Say Lou Lou! Nothing But A Heartbeat is the first taster of new music this year from the Swedish/Australian twins. It also serves as a proper prelude to their debut album Lucid Dreaming, out on February 25th. And dang, this is great! They certainly have a knack for creating memorable hooks and as always we love the dream pop-esque qualities and the big, bold live drums. With all these stellar singles comin' from them the last few years this will be an awesome debut. Enjooooy.

Say Lou Lou drop their Everything We Touch EP on June 2nd and the b-side is perfect slow burner Peppermint. They certainly have a knack for creating superb laments on lost love and this is no exception. Much like amazing b-side Fool Of Me this one stands on its own. Cold strings, a grieving piano and a dark atmosphere that swirls around Miranda and Elektra like black smoke. Love that tingles and then ultimately burns like - peppermint.
