Sweetness! Thankfully the song is already out, and a free download, so we can d.a.n.c.e the rest of the night to it. We love the on point, dramatic vocals - simply flawless. Premiere: David Lynch - Are You Sure (Bastille Remix)

Start the weekend with his superb and a bit spooky Bastille remix of David Lynch's dreamy Are You Sure. We're suckers for the original, found on The Big Dream album, and this mix opens up a whole new dimension. Dan Smith of Bastille has added harmonies and backing vocals that leaves our brain trying to figure out if it's heavenly or hellish ones. Perhaps it's right in between. Sounding lovely, there is also an element of pure darkness found. Secrets hoping they're forgotten lurking in the background... We said about the album version it was like stepping into a small bar in a strange town and hearing your whole life unveil through the jukebox in a corner. This is still true, but this time it's a live show with father and son singing softly in the corner, with people moving slowly in the shadows.

Introducing: Seinabo Sey - Younger

Say hello to Sweden's Seinabo Sey and her debut single Younger - easily one of the best of the year. Her incredible voice is instantly addictive with its layers and depth. The life lesson she teaches is both easy and difficult, light and dark. Her frank delivery is simply spot on and flawless. We love the military style drum beats that fits like a dream with the pitch of the chorus. Addicitve to say the least! Magnus Lidehäll a.k.a Filthy is behind the tight production and hopefully they'll work together on the whole album. Argh, this is so perfect! Thank you Karin!

Lorde is at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 for the 8th week in a row with her magical Royals. Incredible! We thought we should celebrate in style with a huge mix. Just over a month ago we posted the awesome M.I.A. mashup that even saw a retweet from Maya herself on Twitter. Nice! This time we have the instrumental to Justin Timberlake's massive 06/07 #1 What Goes Around... Comes Around and we love it. The characteristic Timbaland beat paired with Lorde's laidback (slightly slowed down) delivery is pure dynamite. So damn good! Can you even imagine what a true collaboration would sound like?! Premiere: Sophie Ellis-Bextor - Young Blood

Sophie Ellis-Bextor takes it down a few notches and makes a most welcome return with Young Blood, the lead single to upcoming album Wanderlust. We must say we love this change of direction. This organic and understated sound really suits her voice and makes for a fresh start. The gorgeous strings and warm piano elevates the song and when the choir kicks in we swear we're in an idyllic postcard of some sorts, haha. The video is simple and elegant with it's retro theme. Not to mention how stunning Sophie looks with this kind of styling. Welcome home, and welcome back! Wanderlust is out on January 20th 2014.
