Premiere: Grimes Feat. Blood Diamonds - Go

Grimes is back and with a gorgeous bang! A few weeks ago she announced she had written a song for Rihanna which ended up being rejected. Well here it is - Go! Working with fellow Canadian and personal friend Blood Diamonds this new era sounds very much like Claire Boucher, but elevated and very focused. It marks the start of a bigger production behind her as she's now signed with major player Roc Nation as the management team. Luckily for us we still get the airy, soaring vocals and crazy synth breakdown that we have to come to love! Thoughts? You can grab a free download too - a 40M .wav below! 

The Best of 2012: The Year In Music

2012 has offered some truly amazing music moments for us! We saw Grimes, El Perro Del Mar and Madonna live in concert to mention but a few! Very awesome! Album wise we're blown away by what we've had on repeat. It feels unreal that Lana Del Rey's Born To Die album came out only this year, not to mention twice, haha! We've played it so many times it feels like it's been out forever. Frank Ocean's Channel Orange album with it raw emotions and amazing instrumentation. So good! Other standouts for us on repeat are First Aid Kit, Azealia Banks and Bat For Lashes. Also so happy for new material from truly iconic artists like Björk, Tori Amos and Sinéad O'Connor! Below we've gathered some of our personal favorites from the year just passed. Moments of pure clarity and happiness collected on one Spotify playlist! How awesome Solange made such a splash with her brilliant True EP this late in the year! AMAZING! Enjoy below and do gives us your thoughts on your faves! Grimes - Genesis - Video Premiere

We saw Grimes live in May (loved it) and have listened a lot to her excellent Visions album. Genesis is one of the standout tracks and we're sooooo happy that it finally has visuals to it. And what amazing visuals! WOW! We love it! It's like a must watch, and repeat watch! We love Claire Boucher's incredible carefree aesthetics + persona and it feels so fresh and natural. It totally got us going with the L.A references, desert, ocean, rave and general badass-ness. How cool is that limo, snake, gang thing? We won't give too much away. Watch belooooow! Grimes - Genesis - Live @ Jimmy Fallon

Claire Boucher a.k.a Grimes did her US network TV debut last night on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon with her bangin' Genesis. If you remember she did her UK TV debut in April with it too! We saw Grimes live in May and it was a real treat. That's why to us her US debut feels a bit awkward with the dancers and added hipster crowd. Her ethereal club persona was on point in the UK production, and one of her strong points is that she's so darn rad standing alone on stage dancing. She doesn't need added fluff!
