Ellie Goulding - Live @ The Troubadour - Full Show

Ellie Goulding performed a very intimate show at The Trobadour in L.A last Tuesday for some very loving fans. She seems to have some very adoring fans and rightfully so! The mutual love is evident just looking at the recording. Nice! Ellie's performance was based mostly on her new album Halcyon with added tracks from her debut album Lights. Most notably the title track that is still after more than a year on Billboard's Hot 100 is still at #15! Incredible feat to have the title track of your debut in the top 20 when you are promoting the follow up album! We could have done without her Elton John cover Your Song, but then again you can't have it all, haha. The Starry Eyed ending left people just that! Have a look belooow! Enjoy!

Tony Bennett & Christina Aguilera - Steppin' Out With My Baby

We loooove jazz and listen to some serious jazz classics all the time. Irving Berlin's 1948 musical number Steppin' Out With My Baby for Fred Astaire in Easter Parade has become a noted jazz standard thanks to Tony Bennett in particular. On his Viva Duets, out this week, he treats us to it as a duet with Christina Aguilera. We already know both sing flawlessly so no surprise there. But it's so smooth and effortless and we love their voices together. They are like butter! When Christina gets tired of fucking people's bodies and working with Max Martin she should totally do more of this. Wonderful!

Hearing the Bat For Lashes version of Rihanna and Calvin Harris' We Found Love for BBC's Radio 1 is an experience for sure. She manages to find and undercurrent of something really dark and sinister. The dissonance of the instruments paired with Natasha's pressed and haunting vocals really has an effect on us! Listen below. Thoughts?

Die Antwoord - Fatty Boom Boom - Video Premiere

Ninja and Yo-Landi Vi$$er just dropped the video to their Fatty Boom Boom and it wouldn't be a Die Antwoord video without controversy. The video plays up heavily the stereotypes of their native South Africa - car jacking, exotic animals as pets etc, etc. Their beef from last year with turning down to open for Lady GaGa and then leaving their shared label really comes thru. We wonder what GaGa thinks of that treatment, it's no compliment to say the least. No spoilers, but EWWW and OUCH!
