If anyone could make us have Last Christmas on r.e.p.e.a.t it'd have to be The xx. Wham!'s 1984 classic has been played to death and the covers can be overwhelmingly sweet. Ya'll know we need some angst, haha. Luckily Christmas is saved as The xx stopped by BBC Radio 1's Live Lounge and did a stunning version that hits us in all the right spots! Kim Wilde and her brother Ricky drunk serenaded their fellow train passangers with Kids In America & Rockin' Around The Christmas Tree last night. They're currently trending worldwide on Twitter and no wonder as it's so awesome! They had been at the Magic FM Christmas party and judging by the clip and the antlers had a smashing time! What's up with the stiff crowd!? We know we would have LOVED to be there and def had joined in! One of the funniest clips on youtube ever! GO KIM!

Mariah Carey stopped by Jimmy Fallon and The Roots and did a flawless All I Want For Christmas Is You with the most amazing backup singers ever! This version contains only instruments you'd find in an elementary school classroom and plays so well! As it happens this song is one of our all time favorite Christmas songs ever, haha. So we are more than happy! If this doesn't melt your heart, you need a big kiss and hug underneath the mistletoe for sure!

It's recently come to our attention that we cannot wait for Chloe-mas to begin! Our heart's beloved Chloe Sevigny lists all the wonderful things she's received just for being her wonderful self. Nice Day For A White Christmas Mixtape

We woke up to a white and snowy world today! How fitting since it's advent season and all. This all spells christmas music, mulled wine and gingerbread cookies today, at least for us. Our classic holiday mix still holds its own for sure. We're absolutely wild about El Perro Del Mar's Oh! What a Christmas with its nod to Phil Spector, Feist's take on the classic hymn Lo, How a Rose E'er Blooming and Elvis' amazing vocals.
