If anyone could make us have Last Christmas on r.e.p.e.a.t it'd have to be The xx. Wham!'s 1984 classic has been played to death and the covers can be overwhelmingly sweet. Ya'll know we need some angst, haha. Luckily Christmas is saved as The xx stopped by BBC Radio 1's Live Lounge and did a stunning version that hits us in all the right spots! George Michael - White Light - Premiere

George Michael is back with his first material since 2005's Patience album, which sold 10 million copies and 2006's greatest hits's album Twenty Five. White Light premiered on UK radio a few hours ago and to our surprise is a dance track, haha. We thought for sure he'd put out a legendary GM ballad about his recent health scare with his pneumonia battle late last year. This track is for sure about it, but over a dance beat sampling a heart monitor! Dance the pain away we guess!? Thoughts?? Great to find him in good health & spirits tho! Keep it up!

George Michael - True Faith (New Order Cover)

Making our ears bleed. That sentence pretty much sums up GM's cover of the fantastic True Faith by New Order. We were in disbelief when we heard that he was gonna do it, and now we are so so so sad. One of the greatest voices ever - muddled and drowning in auto tune, a horrible jazzy backing track + and a crap video with animated smoke that dances and eventually ends up in George Michael's mouth.
