Grace Jones - Slave To The Rhythm - Live @ The Diamond Jubilee Concert

Unless you've been in hiding it's been impossible to miss the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth ll. Tonight the stars came out en masse for the concert outside her lil' house known as Buckingham Palace. From what we saw they all played it kinda safe - so thank goodness there was Grace Jones! She took her hula hoop, corset and some body oil and showed everyone how a true tribute is d.o.n.e! From one queen to another. Watch Slave To The Rhythm below!

Little Boots - Headphones (Single Mix) - Premiere

Little Boots wears her Headphones when she goes to the local disco establishment so you know. A few days ago she treated us to the Todd Edwards Vocal Remix and here's the original mix! Boots continues the retro feeling on this one - we can imagine it going down well in the same DJ set as Donna Summer and Grace Jones at Studio 54 in the late 70's. Disco needs their warrior queens and this Caligula gurl is a great one at that!

...and we got this remix by the fabulous Dimitri From Paris in our inbox today (Monday)! Dimitri's based it on Shep Pettibone's classic 1987 remix of Madonna's Into The Groove. Tasty treat! #Pettiboner!

...and here's the vocal edit of the Dimitri From Paris remix! Enjoy!

The Times of Harvey Milk - A Sunday Documentary

Human rights work is something that can never stop or be taken for granted. We are all resposible for the well-being of our fellow humans and that the people around us are treated fair and equal. Be that in school, at work or just passing by on the street. Obviously the world is not an ideal place - hence why it's so important to stand up if we see any injustice. Around the world people are denied employment because of sexuality, skin colour and gender to name but a few examples. Regularly we hear about hate crimes and people being killed for being LGBT. Our native Sweden was the first country in the world to remove homosexuality as an illness in 1979 - and as of 2009 has a gender- neutral marriage law. When President Obama last month publicly started endorsing gay-marriage - we know it sends a powerful message around the world about human rights. And the foundation Obama stands on in this issue was built by the man on the poster above - Harvey Milk, the first openly gay to be elected into public office in America. This week's documentary is the Academy Award Winner for Best Documentary Feature in 1984 - 6 years after Harvey was assassinated. The film is a powerful message where we human rights defenders come from. If you haven't watched it we won't give too much away. But it blows our mind watching it thinking that it was made so close in time to the murder. The raw emotions in the interviews are incredibly powerful. Further reading about Dan White can be found here. As always we love to hear your thoughts, so comment or Facebook us! Below is the full documentary!

Madonna - The MDNA Tour Premiere in Tel Aviv - HQ Pro Footage

If it somehow didn't show up in your social media feed (how is that even possible) - Ms. Madonna Ciccone premiered her hotly anticipated The MDNA Tour in Tel Aviv tonight. Check out this pro footage shot just a few hours ago! Opener Girl Gone Wild looks as hot as the video with added priests and a kalashnikov, Express Yourself - we swear it's 1990 again just from the vocals alone! Give Me All Your Luvin' & Turn Up The Radio follow suite. Check out Madonna tearing it UP below! Click the full screen icon bottom right when you've pressed play. (We'll replace that rather annoying player when we can.) Kudos for releasing proper footage the same night as the show! Very forward thinking!
