We love Dimitri From Paris mixes and re-edits and here's another one! Paft Dunk styleee and it's safe to say after hearing this track about two million times in the last year we indeed Got Lucky many a time, haha. It never loses its fresh shine though! Dimitri has selected all the grooviest parts from the album mix and all the official remixes and done a super version. There's even some iconic bells from Niles Rodgers' classic Chic band's I Want Your Love. So hot! Enjoy! Hot illustration by Grarg.  

Little Boots - Headphones (Single Mix) - Premiere

Little Boots wears her Headphones when she goes to the local disco establishment so you know. A few days ago she treated us to the Todd Edwards Vocal Remix and here's the original mix! Boots continues the retro feeling on this one - we can imagine it going down well in the same DJ set as Donna Summer and Grace Jones at Studio 54 in the late 70's. Disco needs their warrior queens and this Caligula gurl is a great one at that!

Björk - Human Behaviour (Dimitri From Paris Underground Behaviour Remix)

We are slowly easing into weekend mode with some strong coffee and a 90's house remix of Björk, hehe. We love the story behind it and for the fact that we can picture people going mental over this in NYC clubs in early 1994. Wonderful! Says Dimitri From Paris:

I was commissioned to remix Human Behaviour by Island France who were releasing it domestically. I did 2 sets of mixes and they were grouped on a single promo 12" that was pressed to only 500 copies making it a pretty rare item today. She apparently didn't like the remix much and it stayed commercially unreleased. Luckily for me, I had a chance meeting with David Morales at the time and gave him 2 copies. Months later I was told he and DEF mix partner Frankie Knuckles were killing it in the NY clubs. Thanks to them my name got out of France and it kickstarted my career outside of my country.

Madonna - Into The Groove (Dimitri From Paris Re-Edit)

Yeap, we know, it's been a lot of Madonna lately, and it's gonna be loads more! We've been playing this brand new Into The Groove edit by Dimitri From Paris for the last few weeks and we just had to share it. Straight from he classic 12" Shep Pettibone 1987 remix, Dimitri cuts it into a nugget of Solid Gold. We like that it's so tweaked and unexpected but still hold true to the original beats - piano solo and all!

Prince - I Wanna Be Your Lover (Dimitri From Paris Re-Edit)

We love Prince and his first hit I Wanna Be Your Lover from 1979 has got to be one of the world's finest singles. A week ago we danced to the Dimitri From Paris Re-Edit at the Marc Jacobs party we went to in Copenhagen. We're crazy about the adaptation of the 2002 live version in this subtle re-edit. Our heart exploded with happiness on the dancefloor for sure right there in the MJ store.
