East London's finest The xx drop their second album Coexist next week on Monday the 10th. Thankfully if you are like us i.e no patience you can stream the full album below! Their trademarked Jamie xx sound from the first album is in full swing here! Sparse instrumentation that blend with Romy and Oliver's breathy vocals and angsty lyrics. We looove the first album and the amazing singles. This one feels more like a cohesive listen judging by the first listen. Enjoy! Thoughts?

Wow, the theme for today seems to be gorgeous and scary! Ellie Goulding just dropped her video to Anything Could Happen, and it's a post-apocalyptic one! Perhaps not too surprising judging by the lyrics but still. So if the world ends this year perhaps it'll at least be a stylish ending to us all. Watch belooow!

MS MR - Bones - Premiere

We fell in love with New York duo MS MR's debut Hurricane in May. Here comes Bones and it's an equal brooding and exquisite affair. The lyric video is perfection in its simplicity and reto style. We don't miss VHS but the sometimes shakiness adds a shimmer of lost innocence. Their debut EP Candy Bar Creep Show is out October 22nd with one track dropping on Tumblr each week.

We absolutely adore Vogue Italia's creative license when it comes to their all important September issue. Remember last year's stunning Ethel Granger editorial with Stella Tennant? When we saw this year's editorial cover Face The Future we almost spit our coffee out! It's an ode to Julie Masking and the whole masking community! We're terrified and intrigued at the same time! Goregous Carolyn Murphy is superb in these shots by Steven Meisel. WOW! Holy fuck! It's so good and elegant & we love the juxtaposition of luxury country life with the undertone the masks bring to the table. Watch the amazing fashion film below + JULIE at her best. For more masking click here if ya dare! Anna Wintour put Lady GaGa on her September issue as we all know, last year was Kate Moss. Pretty safe names to say the least. That's why we love Italian editor-in-chief Franca Sozzani so much! Bella! Update: And now Channel 4 has a whole masking documentary.
