Free Download: Lana Del Rey - Fucked My Way Up To The Top (Kudo Remix)

Wow, this is so cool! Lana Del Rey's Ultraviolence album contains the rock hard gem Fucked My Way Up To The Top and its sharpness with dreamy qualities makes it ace. In the hands of Adelaide based producer Edin Hodžić a.k.a. Kudo the emotional charge changes. With the harder production behind it, Lana's voice sounds more urgent and it's really interesting listening to both back to back. Same vocal delivery but different emotions when hearing it. Love the electronic production of the music - it's tight and layered with sounds without losing the minimalistic approach and focus. Top notch! Listen + download below!

Free Download: Lana Del Rey - Ultraviolence (Naekid Remix)

Uh, oh, new Lana Del Rey songs feels like a constant necessity. Luckily there has been plenty of original material, remixes and bootlegs the last four years to last a lifetime. But we want mooore and it's been a bit quiet lately. Nathan Zorndorf a.k.a. NAEKID sorts this out with his badass deep house remix of Ultraviolence! Love how Lana's vocals kinda floats around like a restless ghost, forever haunted by her insane man and his crazy ways. It's a stark contrast to the catchy and tight production that is so well made and would fit any official remix EP. It's dark, fun, cohesive and disjointed all at once. Just like how we like our Del Rey! Plus, that 90's sounding drum machine - ♡. Enjoy below and grab the download here.

Free Download: Lana Del Rey VS. FKA twigs - Two Weeks of Money Power Glory

Earlier this month we were raving about Old Money Pendulum and here's another FKA Lana Del twigs to get excited about! Two Weeks of Money Power Glory takes the very essence of each track and combines them. FKA's stellar vocal production is so distinct, to hear it over a Del Rey patented beat is just magic. Lana's organic darkness is of course perfect as the backdrop to the stuttering high goodness of the $hit twigs is dealing. Both original tracks speaks directly to (putting it mildly) a love interest about wanting something really badly and getting high from it. Higher than a motherfucker from dope and diamonds... Another stellar job Stuart Mauck!

Premiere: Emile Haynie & Lana Del Rey - Wait For Life

When Emile Haynie isn't busy holding Lana Del Rey at knife point (WTF???) they usually record really great songs together. He produced her Born To Die title track amongst others! Wait For Life is the first taster of his debut album harks back to that amazing era and wow, we love how vintage and wistful it sounds. What a dreamy and soaring chorus, devastating lyrics, icy strings and lone steel guitar and bleak outlook on life in general. Yes, that good and oh so uplifting, haha. Listen, listen! Thoughts? We Fall - the Haynie debut album is out on February 23rd and will also include collaborations with Lykke Li, Charlotte Gainsbourg and Dev Hynes to mention just a few.

Free Download: Lana Del Rey VS. FKA twigs - Old Money Pendulum

Wow, we love this! Lana Del Rey's lush string and piano ballad Old Money meets FKA twigs' Pendulum and things really gets swingin'! Both songs are in their original forms extremely representative of both artists so how crazy to hear them like this. Old's air of an old world filled with luxurious things meets the bare bones of the twigs production and opens up a whole forest of things. Plus it's amazing to realize how much warmth FKA's voice adds to her sparse beats when she's missing altogether like this. Lana sounds like a ghost from a bygone era that's gone missing at a London electro club and at the 03:47 mark our heart just explodes. So good! Top marks for thinking of and creating this Stuart Mauck!  Thoughts?
