It's a melodramatic and sweeping piano and strings ballad that runs on emotions and that gorgeous voice front and centre. Icy strings and Lana-isms really gets us going so this is no exception. Wow, Lana Del Rey brings her A game and a NERF gun to the beach in her High By The Beach video. Shot in a Malibu beach house it's a nod to 60's lo-fi movies and paired with some lovely sci-fi! The scene with the helicopter is badass and really makes for a truly memorable moment in the Del Rey saga. Her Honeymoon album era is really shaping up and we officially cannot wait!

Her bad baby not being there for her and Lana wanting to chill and get high on a Cali beach. You could be a bad motherfucker, but that don't make you a man. We all wanna get by and xmas came early this year. New Del Rey is always such an intriguing treat and this is no exception. Her darkness filled with such a serene a strange light is so soothing and hypnotizing. Thoughts?

Wow, Lana Del Rey's Honeymoon album era starts right n o w! Casually she just dropped the title track and it's just how we like our Del Rey: low-fi, dramatic, dark, soaked in strings and a wistful voice telling sad stories. It's so lengthy too - 6 minutes! It plays like a mid 20th century gem, strings from long forgotten film, and starring a heroine on the verge of a nervous breakdown but keeping it together on set. We both know, that it's not fashionable to love me... Thoughts?

We've come a looong way since Lana Del Rey's massive breakthrough in 2011. Summertime Sadness was an immidiate standout for us when the Born To Die album was released. So smooth yet so haunting. Dark but sparkling. Love! Released as a single in 2012 saw it blow up and remixed for the gods. The video alone has over 200 million views! Bau Bau takes the original and turns it into an 80's prom anthen; how could we not love that? The new atmosphere is absolute gold and the added drama from the drum and dark synth is just perfection. It's just what we need to be able to start this summer in our favourite style; pale and melancholic but with a great need for dancing and drinks outside after sunset! Best of both worlds. ENJOY!
