Lana Del Rey - Blue Velvet (Penguin Prison Remix) - Premiere

Lana Del Rey is not wasting any time and we love it! Fresh off the heels of her H&M campaign video being released a few days ago she dropped her new single Blue Velvet on iTunes and now here's the first official remix! Just like Blue Jeans last year it's a tasty Penguin Prison one! This sounds like a dub so we wouldn't be surprised if a fuller version comes along. Lana Del Rey - Blue Velvet - Full Video Version

Lana Del Rey's cover of the classic song Blue Velvet premiered Monday - and here's the full video for it. It serves in pieces as the TV ads for H&M's F/W '12 and since the aesthetics are full on 1950's along with the designs this is perfect for Lana fronting it. Also since she's scored her second Vogue cover she's a golden girl for 'em! We really like this version and with some David Lynch references you can never go wrong, haha.

Lana Del Rey - Blue Velvet - Premiere

Since Lana Del Rey is the face of H&M for F/W 12 what better to have a new single out as well as a tie-in! For the commercials and her re-issue of Born To Die she's recorded her version of the absolute classic Blue Velvet from 1950. It's been covered numerous times, two of the most famous takes are Bobby Vinton's 1963 version, and of course the hypnotising and iconic take by Isabella Rossellini in David Lynch's 1986 movie of the same name. Naturally all of this fits Lana's image perfectly so we're not at all surprised. Her voice fits it like a glove too! Lana Del Rey - Live In Warsaw

Lana Del Rey performed Video Games and Summertime Sadness at the National Theatre during the inauguration of Poles Werwa poll in Warsaw. This also marked her first time performing in Poland! We hope she goes there again soon and perform for reals in a concert as judging by the crowd she's on fire there. Have a look belooow, we love the live version of Summertime so much!

Here's the full version of Lana Del Rey's Damn You, that elusive track that we heard a snippet of 6 months ago! Rumours have it this is part of an upcoming mixtape - how awesome would that be? New Lana music is always welcome. This is a smooth and beautiful track that continues the stories from her Born To Die album. Looking forward to finding out more about her new stuff! 

Update: Wow, here are the full versions of Hollywood's Dead and Backfire! Hollywood sadcore indeed! It's raining Lana today, and we couldn't be happier. In a sad, depressed, destructive way of course!
