WTH and WTF! We are appalled at the fact that Beyoncé is the first woman in 20 years to headline Glastonbury. We had a look online and in 1989 Suzanne Vega did and in 1990 Sinéad O'Connor did. In 1999 Skunk Anansie headlined fronted by Skin, so that counts to some extent. But no solo act since frickin' 1990! We remember Kylie was supposed to in 2005, but had to cancel due to breast cancer. This feels insane! We can think of numerous women since the 80's who should've had the chance. A friend of ours is a singer/songwriter and she told us just a few months ago that a festival promoter actually turned her down due to the fact that she is well, a woman. NUTS! Below is a mixtape filled with much talented women that we pulled out of the vault from 2009 and touched up a bit. Download, listen and remember that everyone needs to be treated equally! We do realize that the people reading this knows this already, but sadly this cannot be stressed enough it seems.

Lady GaGa - Live @ MTV Video Music Awards Japan

Fräulein Germanotta stopped by the MTV Video Music Awards in Japan just a few hours ago and performed The Edge of Glory and Born This Way. She did really well, we love the strong vocal delivery. Also, it's real nice to see her in short hair, in what we guess is her own hair sans wig during BTW. Have a look beloooow!

Lady GaGa - The Edge of Glory - Video Premiere!

Lady GaGa just premiered the video to The Edge of Glory! A very simplistic video featuring a dancing GaGa in a studio set with just Clarence Clemons to keep her company. Liking the throw back to old school GaGa with the sunglasses! Check it! Sad to think Clarence has suffered a massive stoke since the filming of this. Get well soon! The video is directed by The Haus of GaGa and features fashion from the last collection of Gianni Versace. Overall a bit shocking that it's so simple. It was too rushed perhaps? It ain't no Bad Romance!

UPDATE: Turns out the director Joseph Khan and choreographer Laurieann Gibson both left after a "change of plans on set". No wonder this video is so uneventful and quite frankly - boring. GaGa lost the most important people on set, apart from herself, and she looks a bit lost too.

Lady GaGa's epic tour de PR for Born This Way is not slowing down! Last night she stopped by X Factor France and did Edge of Glory and Judas. She sounded a bit exhausted and we're not surprised. Also, it's time to roll out a new single to promote! Love it when she grabbed her butt at the end!
