Video Premiere: Lana Del Rey - Music To Watch Boys To

Lana Del Rey's Honeymoon album era is so solid and awesome, it both sounds and looks so darn perfect. Music wise for us Music To Watch Boys To is one of our favourites of her new material with its romantic shimmer with sharp edges. The video is kinda hilarious as it looks like a every single Lana video evah mixed into one. Gotta love her smile, though. Smile, baby! Watch yer boys and skip those mean daddies plz, we say. Thoughts? 

Video Premiere: Rose McGowan - RM486

Rose McGowan just released her official musical debut RM486 and it's absolutely amazing. The visuals alone on mute are enough to make us *death drop* many times over. Created in collaboration with Jonas Åkerlund as director with incredible styling from Bea Åkerlund it's a video artwork for the ages. We're getting replicant realness, mourning black widow and death mask extravaganza amongst other insanely perfect looks. It's disjointed and cohesive all at once. LOVE! The MUSIC is perfect as well. The intro samples Blade Runner (!) to a lone piano and then builds up to warm synth driven track that hypnotizes and soothes, with Rose's vocals that twists and turns. Holy moly, we need a whole album s t a t! So good! 

Video Premiere: John Grant Feat. Tracey Thorn - Disappointing

Honestly, we could listen all day to the voices of amazing John Grant and Tracey Thorn, and here they are together! The only thing Disappointing us is that TT isn't in the actual video. She'd be badass in the gym, and why not in the sauna. Love that the song is a flip of Cole Porter's evergreen You're The Top. We're crazy 'bout the organic production with some hot electronic elements and the vocal takes are just pure excellence. PLUS they have amazing taste in what's disappointing them on top of it all. Enjoy! 

Video Premiere: Tinashe - Bet

Yeeeeah! Our favourite Tinashe song, Bet, finally has some visuals to it! And it's closing out her Aquarius album era - we were worried it'd be passed over despite being absolute fire. It's also the only track on her debut to have been worked on with Dev Hynes and produced by Blood Diamonds. They are a trio made of diamonds so let's hope for MORE of 'em together for next era! The video is a lo-fi affair with some majah dancing that reminds of Janet's The Pleasure Principle video. PLUS we're getting Feels Like Vegas as a bonus. Nice! Tinashe is so on point and free spirited that we only can wish her more, more, more of everything for whatever she decides to do next. Love her!  

Video Premiere: FKA twigs - M3LL155X

FKA twigs shares close to 15 minutes of brand new audio and visuals! Her M3LL155X collection is an epic trip and plays like something in MoMA. It's an art exhibition for sure - a damn good one! Opening number is Figure 8, the brand new song from just a few weeks ago. The visuals are fierce and harsh and we love 'em. The following vid with its vulenarble twig doll is jarring and equally as harsh. The empty look in both the man and the FKA doll's eyes is a hard look into something sinister with the dribble on the rubber competing for attention. The following 90's club video paired with the pregnant FKA gives reference to what's just gone on and the choreo is spot on and ties in nicely with closer - the already spooky hotness Glass & Patron. It's A LOT to take in so get ready!
