Little Boots keeps on being awesome and her Working Girl album era is fun, fancy and pure corporate pleasure. Her instructional video for Better In The Morning gives all information needed in how to have the most amount of fun evening wise and then how to proceed to make mornings the most pleasurable. Topics such as #walkofshame" and #powerlunch are heavily illustrated and they're making us hungry for more. July 10th better hurry up, we need the album stat! 

Premiere: Cerrone Feat. Beth Ditto - Supernature (Alan Braxe Mix)

It seems like Beth Ditto's cover of 1977 classic Supernature with French duo The Shoes became a real favourite with the originator. This as Cerrone invited to lay down a new version for his upcoming greatest hits package. Cool cat Alan Braxe is on the mix and it's a smoove for sure that follows the original more than the version from last year. The two things that we're a bit hesitant over is the cricket (?) sound - is that really on the final mix? And also it's a bit of a shame that they've polished the powerhouse Ditto vocals in this version. She's a belter - get used to it! Anyway, it's cool so listen belooow. Love the gold visuals, too!

Wow, this is so cool! Lana Del Rey's Ultraviolence album contains the rock hard gem Fucked My Way Up To The Top and its sharpness with dreamy qualities makes it ace. In the hands of Adelaide based producer Edin Hodžić a.k.a. Kudo the emotional charge changes. With the harder production behind it, Lana's voice sounds more urgent and it's really interesting listening to both back to back. Same vocal delivery but different emotions when hearing it. Love the electronic production of the music - it's tight and layered with sounds without losing the minimalistic approach and focus. Top notch! Listen + download below!  

Video Premiere: Hi Fashion - Where Is The Party?

Honestly, WTF, this is terrible. Hi Fashion just became wanted criminals by being too damn fierce at their trade. They just snatched every wig in the game with new single & video Where Is The Party?. Oh - we'll tell you where the party is - it's where this sicknin' duo ends up doing time eventually. Love the new sound and the production from Rick Gradone is tiiight and Jen DM's clipped vocals so sharp and hot you could slice rocks with it. The visuals directed by Rene Vas, produced by Lou Becker and choreography by Danny Dolan are such a treat it's ridiculous. Not to mention the costumes by Rick and makeup job by Marco Campos and god damn cameo by P'Trique. It's a feast and too much greatness for one band. See you in the slammer bixxes - we're calling the cops right now! 

 

Video Premiere: Róisín Murphy - Exploitation

Róisín Murphy's wonderful Hairless Toys (out May 11) album era just got its first video! Exploitation, which clocks in at almost 10 minutes in the album version, is an understated, pulsating, intriguing piece of music. Naturally the visuals are too - it's Ró! It's a fabulous video evoking a wonderful air of 70's European cinema with Italian and French vibes. So sophisticated with a twist - it just pulls you in and makes you wanna stay. Top notch!
