Premiere: Robyn - Tell You (Today) [Loose Joints Cover]

Wow, Robyn's creative output is lighting up the sky! We knew that she spent time in the studio this summer with friend and producer Christian Falk just before he passed away from stomach cancer. :( Here's the first taster of their creative spark! A cover of experimental disco super nova Arthur Russell and his Loose Joints' 1983 hit Tell You (Today) for new album Master Mix: Red Hot + Arthur Russell out next month. Premiere: Say Lou Lou - Instant Crush (Daft Punk Cover)

Miranda and Elektra Kilbey a.k.a. Say Lou Lou celebrate signing to Columbia Records by doing a cover of label mates Daft Punk & Julian Casablancas and givin' it way (kinda) for free. Their take on Instant Crush tones down the robotics and breathes a new kind of life into the lyrics. More personal. It's airy like a cool night by a fading fire that gleams and slowly pulsates. Tori Amos - Hyperballad (Björk Cover) [Live at the Greek Theatre]

Tori Amos performed at L.A's classic Greek Theatre last night to a roaring crowd (of course, no surprise there). Her live set for this particular show included a stunning version of Björk's legendary 1996 single Hyperballad. Such a perfect treat! She's done it before and this time it's no less stellar. Her voice truly soars here and we kinda feel the need to throw some cutlery down the balcony now, struggling as we are to find the words. It's emotive, superb and truly so very Tori without losing any connection to the wonderful original. When she effortlessly glides into her own 1994 wonder Cloud On My Tounge it's no less than badass. Like what the hell?! So damn fine! The last 20 seconds we cannot even! At last night's show she did covers of Kate Bush, Elton John and Depeche Mode on top of this. Shockingly awesome, haha! We need to see her live stat! Enjoy! 

Clean Bandit - Show Me Love (Robin S. Cover)

UK classical house collective Clean Bandit are having a huge year with their Rather Be hitting #1 and playing for huge crowds. We can't stop playing their excellent live cover of Robin S.' eternal funky house classic Show Me Love. As late as yesterday our iPhone started playing the original and we got our groove on putting our trainers on, haha. What we especially love about this cover is the seamless blend of electronic and organic. The cello and violin are on fire! Not to mention how incredibly slick and flawless the vocals are. Everything's coming up Kiesza and we love it! Following her UK #1 with debut single Hideaway on Sunday - we're getting Haddaway! She's taking his epic 1993 euro disco evergreen What Is Love and infused with some serious raw stripped back power. Gone is the shine of the original and left is bare bones of the true and honest emotions that lies beneath. The video is another one take and using simple yet effective effects to get the message across. We feel it Kiesza, trust us! Stunning!
